What the Bible Says about Sodomy
"Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination. If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them."—Lev.18:22, 20:13.
"There shall be no whore of the daughters of Israel‚ nor a Sodomite of the sons of Israel."—Deut.23:17
"Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonor their own bodies between themselves: Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, Who is blessed for ever. For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompense of their error which was meet (AIDS and a multitude of sexual diseases). "Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the Kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators‚ nor idolaters, nor adulterers‚ nor effeminate ("male prostitutes" in modern versions of the Bible)‚ nor abusers of themselves with mankind ("homosexual offenders"), nor thieves, nor covetous‚ nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God."—1Cor.6:9-10.
"And turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah into ashes condemned them with an overthrow, making them an ensample unto those that after should live ungodly."—2Pet.2:6.
"Even as Sodom and Gomorrah, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire. Likewise also these filthy dreamers defile the flesh, despise dominion, and speak evil of dignities. But, beloved, remember ye the words which were spoken before of the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ; how that they told you there should be mockers in the last time, who should walk after their own ungodly lusts. These be they who separate themselves, sensual, having not the Spirit."—Jude 1:7‚8,17-19.
Why Is Sodomy So Offensive to God?
The starting point for understanding both human sexuality in general and homosexuality in particular should be the account of the creation of man and woman in Genesis 1 and 2. Chapter 1 deliberately notes that the man made in God's image was created male and female, connecting this with the command to reproduce (Gen. 1:27‚28). In Chapter 2 sexuality is also related to companionship; the loneliness of man is remedied not by the creation of another man, but by the addition of the woman (Gen.2:21,22). The Lord emphasizes this repeatedly in both the Old and New Testament. "Have ye not read that He which made them at the beginning made them male and female? For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife, and they twain shall be one flesh."—Mat.19:4,5.
The creation of male and female, of husband and wife who bear children together, was meant to be a beautiful physical illustration of the Lord's relationship with His Bride, the Church, out of which would come new souls for His Kingdom. A homosexual relationship, on the other hand, negates the great illustration God has ordained, and is totally sterile. Couples are ideally to "be fruitful and multiply," since "children are an heritage of the Lord, and the fruit of the womb is His reward" (Gen. 1:28; Psa.127:3). A homosexual relationship is totally against God's plan for man and His Church.
Church Leaders Speak Out on Sodomy
St. Augustine said in his "Confessions": "Those shameful acts against nature, such as were committed in Sodom, ought everywhere and always to be detested and punished. If all nations were to do such things, they would (equally) be held guilty of the same crime by the law of God, which has not so made men that they should use one another in this way."
Thomas Aquinas said homosexual practices "...are always an injury done to the Creator‚ whether or not any offence is at the same time committed against one's neighbor, since they violate His creative intent for human behavior and destroy the beauty of His work."
Luther considered the prevalence and toleration of homosexual activity among the clergy as one of the worst symptoms of decay in the church, a product of human failure to know and honor the true God. In his "Lectures on Romans," Luther observes on Romans 1:24: "From this text we may therefore deduce that if someone surrenders to these passions, it is a sure sign that he has left the worship of God and has worshipped an idol, or he has turned the truth of God into a lie (Rom.1:25). Those who do not 'see fit to acknowledge God' (Rom.1:28) are branded in this way, that they are permitted to fall into all kinds of vices."
Billy Graham has commented: "No matter how we may rationalize the practice (of homosexuality) as a viable alternative to heterosexual relationships, the reference in Romans 1 makes it clearly the product of a reprobate mind."
Are Sodomites Really Born that Way?
Many studies have tried to prove that homosexuality is simply inborn. Homosexuals have claimed that it's a hormone condition, that it's hereditary, or that it's "just natural," as it seems to take place in the animal world. Let's examine each of these arguments:
1. Scientists who have run extensive tests on male and female homosexuals have found their hormonal level to be the same as heterosexuals. After studying androsterone and the effects of estrogen therapy, two doctors writing in the John Hopkins Medical Journal reported that "when extremely effeminate males (homosexual or heterosexual) have been tested by these means, they have shown entirely normal hormone levels." Other tests have verified these findings, and some have uncovered an even higher ratio of male hormones in homosexuals than in heterosexuals. To date there is no scientific evidence to support the notion that homosexuality is a hormone condition.
Researcher Simon LeVay‚ himself a homosexual‚ has recently tried to prove that homosexual brains are different from heterosexual ones. However, many technical aspects of his study are subject to question, as LeVay himself concedes. Although he found minute differences in the brains of heterosexual and homosexual men, it's possible that the difference is the result rather than the cause of homosexuality. "My freshman biology students know enough to sink this study," declared Anne Fausto-Sterling, professor of medical science at Brown University in Rhode Island.
2. Another highly publicized conjecture was that homosexuality is a hereditary condition, but work done by recent geneticists has overwhelmingly refuted the idea. Not only has the view that homosexuality is a chromosomal anomaly been overthrown, but so also have many of the alleged "scientific" methods once used to bolster the view. Techniques developed for viewing all the chromosomes of a cell in connection with chromatin-sexing studies have found no abnormality relating to homosexuality. In other words, it's not hereditary. If it were an inborn condition, why couldn't any other sexual preference be inborn, including pedophilia‚ necrophilia, bestiality‚ violent rape, etc.?
3. Finally‚ the last plank of the theory of homosexuality's biological "normality" has been removed by the most advanced ethological studies, which have shown homosexuality to be uniquely human. For years it was popular to think that many animals engage in homosexual practices, but recently the evidence for such a view has been found to rest on faulty observations. The fact is that no mammal in its natural state seeks and prefers same-sex sexual gratification. This is found uniquely among human homosexuals. Therefore, among many contemporary scientists the theory that homosexuality is a biological condition (congenital‚ hereditary, or constitutional) is deemed a theory without support, a conjecture demolished by hard empirical evidence. Homosexuals are made‚ not born!
God's Word teaches that homosexuality is not "natural" at all. Whatever physical factors may influence it, homosexuality cannot be viewed as inborn. It is artificial and learned, contrary to what a man is by God's creation. The occasional homosexual defense, "I can't help it," cannot be acceptable in light of the Word of God. Homosexuality is not a cross to be borne, but a pattern of behavior to be thrown off with the old man and his lusts.
Conclusion
The homosexual lifestyle is directly opposite the Scriptural lifestyle, and while some homosexuals openly detest Christians, other homosexuals are secretly infiltrating the churches, schools‚ government and society at large to change attitudes towards sodomy. Christians, beware! God's judgments have fallen heavily on past civilizations that tolerated or promoted homosexuality.
Many homosexuals will say that this is a bigoted perspective on homosexuality. But disagreeing with homosexuals about their rights and disapproving of their behavior does not make someone a bigot. Opposition is not necessarily a violent hatred or exaggerated fear, rooted in unfair and irrational attitudes based on blanket preconceptions; it is not an evidence of "homophobia."
Viewing something as immoral is not the same thing as being bigoted; for example, someone who condemns the killing of innocent people is not a bigot toward murderers!
Some gays claim that those who criticize homosexuality are guilty of having a judgmental attitude. It has been said that "surely it is neither the Christian's responsibility nor prerogative to judge other people's lifestyles." But when God's Word has condemned something—in fact, made it a crime punishable by death—the Word itself, Jesus, has already judged it and found it guilty. Remember, in the Old Testament "every transgression and disobedience received a just recompense."—Heb. 2:2. Homosexuality is so contrary to Creation and to God's Will that every hint of wiping out the created distinction between the sexes was also forbidden. Even impersonating the other sex by one's clothing was abominable. (Deut.22:5).
To be true to God and His Word we cannot be uncritical of or neutral toward those things Scripture prohibits. People must be warned against attitudes and behavior that are displeasing to God. Homosexuality was so heinous that in ancient Israel it called for capital punishment. Accordingly the child of God must be repulsed and outraged at this vile behavior: "Therefore I esteem all Thy precepts concerning all things to be right, and I hate every false way."—Psa.119:128.
Homosexuals can escape from their lifestyle, if they want deliverance. There is 100% deliverance through Jesus for those who want it! Jesus said, "I give you power over all the power of the Enemy."—Luk.10:19. And "as many as received Him (Jesus), to them gave He power to become the sons of God, even to them which believe on His name."—John 1:12. Jesus calls all men to become "new creatures," "denying ungodliness and worldly lusts" (2Cor.5:17; Tit.2:12), and He gives us the power to do so.

2. (Dad:) The subject of this Letter reminds me of one of our early revolutionary songs, as sung by a young teenager who traveled with us for awhile, David Z. I always remember him for this song, which he sang almost continually‚ both in the Light Club ' when he was traveling with us personally in the Ark: "Oh my Lord, oh my Lord, how much longer? Lord, how long can You let this go on!"
3. The World is almost becoming a frightening place to live with all the horrors that are going on throughout the Earth! … But I think the most horrible ’ frightening of all is the flagrant, blatant‚ defiant, filthy wickedness of Man himself reveling ’ brazenly displaying his evil in massive demonstrations‚ raging down the streets of the World's greatest cities!—The angry, violent, defiant‚ blatant mobs of vile Sodomites displaying their filthy wickedness ' their horrible perversion!
4. Sodomy is one of the most wicked sins in the Bible, for which God destroyed many great cities ' whole nations, ’ for which, amongst other wickedness, He'll soon undoubtedly destroy this present World ' its System ' governments who are allowing this sort of thing to run rampant over the face of the Earth ' through the streets of their cities, like Sodom ' Gomorrah of old!
The Unpardonable Sin!
5. The Lord said that any sin, no matter how vile or evil, could be forgiven if confessed ’ repented of.—Any sin, that is, but resistance against the Holy Spirit of God's Love!—The ultimate in self-righteousness! He said it will not be forgiven, neither in this World, nor in the Next!—Mat.12:31, 32. Which also shows that there are some sins, which, though not forgiven in this World, will be forgiven in the Next!—But not self-righteousness which considers itself more right ' good than God, ' which doesn't need God or His help or His Salvation.—In other words, the person who is so right ' good in himself, that he thinks he doesn't need God's righteousness or goodness ' therefore refuses God's offer of Salvation, since he figures he doesn't need to be saved from sin because he isn't sinful.—Like the proud hypocrites whom Malachi described as saying, "Wherein have we sinned against Thee?"—Mal.1:6,7; 2:17; 3:8. And as Jeremiah said, "Were they ashamed? No, they could not even blush!"—Jer.6:15; 8:12. That sounds both like the self-righteous hypocritical religionists, as well as the viciously violent ' blatant, flagrant, filthy Sodomites of today!
6. This kind of self-righteousness is the only sin that God cannot pardon, because these people refuse to accept the fact that they even have sin, therefore there's nothing God can do to help them. Even Sodomy is pardonable if the Sodomite is ashamed ' sorry ’ repentant, ’ in all his degradation will humbly beg for forgiveness. God can forgive him ' cleanse him ' restore him ' give him a new spirit, a new mind‚ a new heart, ' he can be born again, "a new creature in Christ Jesus‚ old things passed away, all things become new."—2Cor.5:17.
9. What a lie of the Devil, how he misnames ’ distorts ' perverts even the language ' terminology of sin!— Sodomites calling themselves "Gays" when they're anything but gay! It makes it sound like they're happy when they're anything but happy! Psychologists ' sociologists who have studied them say they're extremely unhappy, irritable, cross, they fuss ’ fight ’ are subject to temper tantrums etc.
10. They're sickening, disgusting, filthy, wicked, vile, horrible sinners!—Openly defying God ’ defying authority, defying decency, defying morality, even defying laws, parading their wickedness ' their filth ' their iniquity down the public streets of the great cities of this wicked World!
11. And the World tolerates them ' even just laughs ' thinks their antics are funny or amusing, just thinks they're a little odd, or a little "queer," as they used to call them. Whereas God doesn't think it's funny, ' the kind of laugh He's going to laugh last is not the funny laugh, but it's a laugh of derision ' disgust ' rage ' vengeance ' judgment upon the unrepentant, defiant, Godless, anti-Christ, anti-Christian men of Sodom of this wicked World! (See Psalm 2:4-5.) These people who blatantly flaunt their perversions in public, exhibit the same attitude of those who said, "Wherein have we sinned?"—And like those described in Jeremiah: "Were they ashamed?—Nay, they could not even blush!"
12. The Lord as good as said of the wickedness of Israel ’ its self-righteousness‚ its sanctimonious religiosity, ceremonial rigmarole, self-works religion, that if He forgave them, He would have to apologize to Sodom ' Gomorrah ' Tyre ' Sidon!—Mat. 11:21-24. So there's no sin on Earth, except self-righteousness‚ which infuriates God as much as Sodomy. It is the utmost in sexual perversion, filth ’ wickedness! Can you imagine letting the pure seeds of God mingle with the filth ’ the dirt ’ the dung of Man? It is disgusting, sickening—enough to make God Himself want to puke!
The World Has Compromised with the Sodomites!
14. They're calling it "Gay Pride" now, ' they're inviting all such wicked, filthy, sickening Sodomites to "come out of the closet." In other words‚ "Come out of secrecy ' openly display your sin! Don't be ashamed of being a Sodomite! Come out in the open, brag about it, be proud of it! Defy convention, defy tradition, defy the Christians, defy the law, defy the governments, defy the churches! Show the World that you love your sin ' you're proud of it!"
15. And the World has compromised with them ' tried to make peace with them ' even tolerate them in their governments. Officials, judges ' lawmakers are confessing their own Sodomy ' coming out ' claiming exemption from the weak laws of Man. And worst of all, even the churches are accepting them—not only as church members, but as their ministers ’ priests who sanctify the unholy alliances between them, calling them "holy weddings"! How bad can they get? How far can the church go?
16. If they can make Sodomites accepted by the church, then the Devil has succeeded in making religion ' morality accept Sodomy! In other words, if the church accepts them, why shouldn't everybody accept them? The Sodomites are getting just what they want—publicity. As long as they get so much publicity, they're more accepted. Even if they're just accepted scandals, at least they're accepted. They're getting publicity far beyond their actual population.
17. How far can the governments go, now recognizing Sodomy as legal ' openly giving them the benefits of the laws ' the special sanctity of marriage, ' even the benefits of health care ' marital benefits in some countries. In some cases, the sicknesses ' disabilities of the so-called "mate" in a Sodomite union are rewarded with pensions ' legal exemptions ’ compensations of various kinds by the state!—The wicked governments of this World making the so–called "marriages" of Sodomites legal ' recognized ’ benefited by law, treating them exactly like married couples in their filthy unholy alliances! They've even gone so far as to be blasphemous enough to call gay marriages not just "marriages" but "holy unions"!—Even letting them adopt pure pitiful innocent little children to also pollute ' contaminate ’ pervert ’ destroy!
18. It's almost unbelievable the depths to which the governments of the World have sunk, with the greatest ’ richest ' yet most decadent ' most wicked ' sinful ’ worst nations on Earth not only recognizing the Sodomites, but even exalting them now with millions ' millions of Dollars in aid! They're demanding recognition, demanding help, demanding compensation, saying that they deserve it above all people!
19. If politicians refuse the Sodomites anything, it's not good for their political career! It's just not politically correct to refuse the Sodomites, "they deserve your sympathy," blah, blah! (Maria: It's not good for your safety ' security to refuse them either, because they're really dangerous! They can be very aggressive ’ violent!) Nor is it good for your votes, if you're a politician. It's politically correct now to sympathize with … Sodomites, ' it's political suicide if you don't!
20. The Sodomites are the most demonstrative, the loudest ' the most contemptible of all those who demand compensation! They don't request it, they demand it! They threaten! They threaten the governments ' the officials with veiled ' even open threats of what they're going to do if they don't get the millions ' billions of Dollars in help they want!—To where they've become one of the most powerful lobbies in the governments of this Earth, ' are getting anything they want, whatever they ask for, whatever they demand!—Subverting ' perverting the wicked governments of this Earth into feeling sorry for them ' recognizing ’ compensating them ' blessing them ' giving them everything that they insist upon‚ so that they're now beginning to rule the Earth!
21. No wonder the Scripture speaks of the Antichrist as not having a desire for women!—Dan.11:37. He's probably going to be a filthy, perverted Sodomite! And in case you don't know who I'm talking about‚ I'm talking about the so-called "Gays," these so-called "homosexuals," which are never called Sodomites in the news!
Christians Aren't Exposing Sodomy Enough!
22. The churches have got to compromise with them, they've got to try to make peace with them. They've got to try to pacify them ' please them ' get them off their backs!—Particularly the ungodly‚ Godless so-called Christian churches that have long ago forsaken the Lord.—The huge modernistic denominations that no longer believe the Bible or preach Salvation‚ but only preach the so-called "Social Gospel"—who just help Man in his physical needs ' infirmities.
23. So of course they want to help the Sodomites, the homosexuals, the Gays, because they obviously have some kind of an infirmity, a real problem!—Although now they're beginning to claim it's not an unusual thing, but that it's very common ' should be accepted as normal sexual orientation, an alternate lifestyle that the World should accept as perfectly normal ' should not be condemned or criticized.
24. They're now even excusing it, saying that they are born with it, that it's a physical ' psychological trait because of some quirk in their brain ' they can't help it, they didn't choose to be that way. (Maria: Yes, they say they were made that way, so why should you try to change them?) Well, some of them probably are born with those Sodomite spirits, ’ others pick them up later. But there is deliverance. God would not have judged Sodomy so harshly if there was nothing that the Sodomites could do about it. God is not unfair‚ neither is He unmerciful or unloving. He is not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance (2Pet.3:9).—And He has provided a way for everyone to be forgiven of their sins ' delivered from demonic influences through His sacrifice on the cross.
25. By claiming that they're born that way ' it is a genetic peculiarity, Sodomites are trying more ' more to get away from the blame, from the guilt, because they know it's wrong, they know it's wicked! To confess that they were not born that way ' they chose to be that way would insinuate sin. Instead, they act as though they're the victims ' not the sinners, as though it's somebody else's fault or the government's fault ' not the Sodomites' own fault. "It's your fault for not helping us, your fault for not marching with us," blah, blah!
26. A lot of people don't even know how terrible, vile, wicked‚ horrible, anti-God ' anti-Bible Sodomy is, which shows you that the Christians ' churches ' preachers obviously are not preaching against it enough ' exposing it enough! It's seldom that you ever hear of a preacher connecting Sodomy with homosexuality ' calling the Gays "Sodomites" ' using text from the Bible to prove it! I think they're almost afraid to, because the Sodomites are getting too belligerent! I mean really belligerent!—One of the worst cases of which was with Lot in Sodom, when the Sodomites lusted after the Angels! (See Gen.19:4–9.)
27. The Scripture is so powerful! People need to be informed of what the Bible has to say about Sodomy!—How the early leaders ’ kings of Israel were commanded to wipe them out ’ kill them all, stone them to death! (Lev.18:22, 20:13; Deut. 23:17; 1Ki.22:45,46; 2Ki.23:3‚7.) Whereas today they publicize them, exalt them, promote them ’ solicit sympathy for them, almost make them martyrs! It's a sad day ' wicked men are waxing worse ' worse! It's just sickening that Sodomites should have ever become so bold, flaunting their wickedness right out in public! It shows how brazen ' utterly wicked they are!
"Male ' Female Created He Them!"
28. Another reason that God so abhors Sodomy is that it's a direct contradiction ’ negation of His creation of male ’ female, husband ' wife, which He designed to be a beautiful physical illustration of His Own relationship with His Bride, the Church. The Lord repeatedly brings that out in the Scriptures, that He created the relationship between man ' woman to give us a visible illustration of His relationship with us, His Church, the "weaker vessels" (1Pet. 3:7) who bear His children (Rom.7:4), His Bride whom He loves‚ nurtures ' cares for.
29. "The husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in everything."—Eph.5:23,24. When people try to circumvent or violate God's plan, His creation, it negates the great illustration that He has ordained, ' He is very displeased. "And He answered ' said unto them, Have ye not read, that He which made them at the beginning made them male ' female?"—Mat.19:4.
Flood of Sodomite Spirits!
30. I can admire men, especially our Family men who are so dedicated to the Lord ' faithful to His Work, but I never have any sexual feelings toward them, that's for sure! That's really an aberration! It's definitely a perversion ' I think it's demonic that some men want to be like women. They're probably inhabited, possessed by female devils who do it deliberately to corrupt them, the Devil knowing it's an abomination to God!
31. (Maria: It seems like there's a whole flood of Sodomite spirits being unleashed on the World today, because these thoughts ' temptations are even attacking Christians who never would have even thought of it.—Just out of the blue attacking them ' trying to get them to yield to it, a lot of whom never even had any thought of it before! So it's really extreme. And then the poor worldly people can easily yield to Sodomy because they're told, "It's just normal ' don't fight your feelings. If you feel that way, that's okay.")
32. That's your psychologists ' psychiatrists for you—they are demons themselves, ministers of the Devil! Satanic preachers, that's what the vast majority of psychiatrists are! I sure agree with Scientology on that ' always have. There are, however‚ some well-meaning ’ sincere Christian psychologists ' psychiatrists. If anybody should be able to counsel people correctly, it should be Christian psychologists. (Maria: But the danger is that they often get too influenced by worldly psychology to the point where they're going more by worldly psychological principles than the Biblical Christian faith. And when you come right down to it‚ the two cannot be in total agreement ' you have to end up choosing one or the other. But the Christian is miles ahead‚ because, as someone said, Christianity is the best psychology of all ' the others can't compare with it.) Yes! Psychologists ' psychiatrists are the clergy of the Antichrist‚ but there are some here ' there who are honest ' good.
The Fury of the Lord Is Rising
Until There Will Be No Remedy!
33. So where does that bring us? I'll tell you, it downright frightens me! It scares me to see how far the World has gone already, ’ how near the End must be! I don't think God is going to stand it much longer. Personally, the fury of the Lord has risen up in me when I've seen news clips of demonstrations, parades of so-called "Gays"—sickening, disgusting, filthy Sodomites, brazenly‚ blatantly, flagrantly ' openly demonstrating their sins in public, in monstrous parades of thousands down the streets of the great wicked cities of the World!
34. I wonder how much longer the Lord can stand it? If the Spirit of the Lord in me is any indication, it's not going to be much longer, because what I saw on the news yesterday made me absolutely furious!—And not only disgusted with them, but with the good people ' church people who allow that sort of thing!—And the governments that even tolerate it ' benefit ' bless it, who give it their legal blessing!
35. (Maria: It's amazing that there are anti-abortion groups ’ organizations of anti-this ' anti-that, but you hardly ever hear of any anti-Sodomite groups.) Christians are afraid! They don't seem to be strong enough in their convictions regarding it. Even their churches are tolerating it. I'll never forget in the early days of the Family when we first heard of a Pentecostal church run by a Sodomite preacher who openly advocated Sodomy! (Maria: A Pentecostal church?) Yes, a church run for Sodomites by a Sodomite! And he fought us in the early days. It shows where he was at.
36. How long is God going to put up with it? Well, judging by my own personal spiritual reaction when I've seen some of this stuff openly flaunted on the main streets of the World's cities ' allowed, even protected by the police, I've felt like the Scripture where it says that "the fury of the Lord arose until there was no remedy!"—2Chr.36:16.
37. The World has become absolutely corrupt, totally corrupt! The wicked men, Sodomites, have gained power completely out of proportion to the population. The Devil really knows how to do it, God damn him! God damn them! And God damn the nations that tolerate them, ' You will, Lord! TYL! It will come. My God, who would have ever believed that it could come to this point, that they would so boldly ' loudly brag about their wickedness!
38. Now they're even demanding benefits of law, demanding legal protection against discrimination etc., when in the Bible, God's law was that they were to be stoned to death! They're stoned today, all right, on drugs, sex ' sin! But the Bible refused to even let a Sodomite live (Lev. 20:13) ' he was condemned to the most horrible, painful, violent death you can imagine, a public stoning by the righteous citizens who were disgusted with such things ' such people, ' refused to tolerate them according to God's laws!—Which was one of the sins held against some of the kings of ancient Israel in that they did not wipe out all of the Sodomites! (1Ki.14:22-24.)
39. So when I look at those horrible, filthy‚ wicked‚ vile‚ abominable degradations of those demonstrations of the Sodomites parading their wares down the streets, I just get furious! They're worse than the most wicked ' vile of all people! Sodomy is the worst sin of all, reveling in its evil, except for the sin at the opposite end of the scale, self–righteousness‚ which revels in its supposed goodness! The ironic thing about it is the blatant‚ open Sodomite sinner is often also guilty of self-righteous pride ' justifies his actions as being good ’ right! He often has a hard time believing that he is sinning.
40. In the case of Sodomy, it's self-wickedness, blatantly flaunting it before the public in massive parades ' demonstrations to demand "Gay Rights." There's nothing right about Gays, ' there are no rights that any of them deserve!
41. I just got furious! The fury of God's Spirit rose up against them ' I thought, "My God, these people have gone too far! How can there be any remedy?" They're blatant, they're brazen‚ they're bold! They pride themselves in their rottenness. "Gay Pride!"—Homosexual pride, Sodomite pride, pride in filth, iniquity ' sin, wickedness of the most disgusting kind! Alongside of their wickedness, almost any other sin looks righteous!
42. The World seems to think prostitution is the worst sin, but I just feel sorry for the poor girls who are usually just victims of pimps, which the Bible calls "whoremongers," men who sell girls for money. The poor girls usually are roped into it with money ' drugs ' poverty. … Other sins are almost nothing compared to the filth of Sodomy!—That scum on the surface of this earthly cesspool!
43. How long is God going to let it last? I don't think He's going to let them get away with it much longer! God didn't wipe out whole cities ' civilizations for murder or some even for wars, but He did for Sodomy! I think He's fed up ' furious ' it's probably only for our sakes that He hasn't yet wiped out them ' their filthy governments ' dirty churches! Because if He did, there would be no government left—nothing but chaos ' anarchy ' violence raging not only in the inner cities of the wicked, but throughout all the Earth! God's going to have to wipe it out soon!
45. I think the violence of the Sodomites has turned a lot of people against them ’ showed others their true nature. We've heard of cases in which they've resorted to vandalism ' breaking windows ’ crashing doors, occupying governmental offices, holding people hostage, all kinds of terrible things!—All because some law didn't get passed that would have helped their movement or something like that. They're just unbelievably bold ' brazen‚ the Devil's own minions trying to take over!
46. Well, it's just another sign of the times of this wicked World! "Evil men ' seducers shall wax worse ' worse," God's Word says (2Tim.3:13)‚ until they shall be like the days of Noah ' Sodom ’ Gomorrah (Luk.17:28–30), ' that was pretty bad! When Angels came into the city to visit Lot, the Sodomites wanted to fuck the Angels in the ass ' demanded that Lot bring them out so they could do their evil deeds upon them! How horrible! How sickening! No wonder God helped the Angels to shut the doors ' blind their eyes so that they groped around ' couldn't even find the doors of Lot's house!—Gen.19:5, 11. And then the next day, as soon as they got Lot out of there, God wiped out those cities with fire ' brimstone rained down on them from Heaven‚ ' turned that whole area into salt! The land ' Sodomites were totally destroyed ' nothing could even grow there any more!—Gen.19:24, 25.
47. How soon is He going to do this to some of these wicked, filthy Sodomite cities of the World? Well, it looks like He's already doing it in some places. Some of the cities ' villages of the Philippines are being totally wiped out with volcanic eruptions, fire ' brimstone, ’ dirty mud slides! How symbolic of the wickedness of the Filipinos, one of the wickedest countries on Earth!—One of the filthiest, most pitiful, most religious ' yet poorest example of Christianity of any nation on the face of this Earth! Nearly anything goes in the Philippines!—All kinds of filth ' wickedness, whole towns where the horrible corruption ' pollution of children is an accepted fact ' the way their parents earn money, prostituting their own children to the rich tourists! How horrible! How terrible! How sickening!
Closing Prayer
58. Thank You, Lord, for strength for today ' wisdom ' Thy inspiration ' leading ' guidance. Bless us ' make us a blessing throughout the Earth. Thank You for how You have. Now, Lord, give us deliverance from this wicked ’ adulterous generation. That Sodomite demonstration I saw on the news yesterday just infuriated me!—And I'm sure it must've infuriated You as well.
59. Thank You Lord that we know the Truth ’ that the lies of the Enemy don't deceive us! Thank You Lord that we see the World as it really is—a wicked, vile, cesspool of iniquity! TYL!
62. Rebuke the powers of evil, Lord, that are engulfing the World! Keep us light ’ pure ’ right. Rebuke the liars! Rebuke the horrible, filthy deceivers! Help the people that are Thy sheep to come out in understanding ’ to believe the Truth ’ to condemn the lies ’ the horrors of the evil wicked! My God, it's horrible the way the Enemy is attacking in these Last Days! In the Name of Jesus I rebuke you, Satan, in Jesus' name! Praise God! Thank You Lord! Lord Jesus, deliver us! Purify us, keep us, Lord! Keep us sacred from the evil of the Enemy! Help Thy people to recognize this evil perversion ' to keep themselves pure from it! My God, Lord Jesus, help us!
63. Never ever let them pervert you, no matter how much you need money or influence! Stick to your beliefs! Don't let them descend on you with their evil ' deceit, no matter what! Don't let them subvert you! Stick to the Truth, stick to reality, stick to God's Will!—In Jesus' name, amen!
Witnessing to Sodomites!
64. God hates Sodomy ' is furious at those who openly defy Him by flaunting their evil before the World, in arrogance ’ rebellion against His laws! "Because they received not the love of the Truth, God has sent them strong delusion that they might believe a lie, that they might be damned!"—2Th.2:10-12. You say, "Well, if they didn't know it was wrong, how can God be so hard on them?"
65. God has given every man a conscience, an instinctive knowledge of good ' evil, "the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, ' their thoughts either accusing or excusing them."—Rom.2:15. So when they willfully rebel against their conscience, violating God's natural laws ' purposely "leaving the natural use of the woman to do that which is against nature" (Rom.1:26,27), they're accountable! And "we are sure that the judgment of God is according to Truth against them which commit such things."—Rom.2:2.
66. But there are some individuals who are plagued by Sodomite spirits who don't like it ' don't want it ' are looking for deliverance from those evil spirits.—Those who really want to repent ' are seeking the Lord's forgiveness ’ a real change in their life. There are some very precious people who have been caught up into this, not even realizing how horrible it is in God's sight, ’ when they are given the Truth of God's Word they really want to do what's right ' change. We even have some former Sodomites in the Family whom the Lord has wonderfully delivered. The Lord hates the sin‚ but He loves the humble, repentant sinner who comes to Him for help ' rescue, ' He will lovingly take him in His arms ' cleanse ' purify ’ make him one of His Own.
67. So as you witness to Sodomites, remember that Jesus loves them ’ died for them‚ just as He did for each of us in all our sinfulness.—And none of us can enter into Heaven without receiving Jesus' pardon ' atonement. Give them His Love ' Message of Salvation ' offer of deliverance. If they won't receive it, then you can warn them of God's wrath upon the unrepentant ' His hate of what they are doing. The Lord commands us to "warn the wicked of his wicked way" that his blood won't be upon our hands.—Eze.3:17-19.
68. We are all sinners ' no one is too bad for Jesus. "For all have sinned ' come short of the glory of God."—Rom.3:23. We all need the Lord just as much, ’ if you show them His Love, you may be able to win them. What God can't tolerate is the unrepentant, defiant, rebellious sinner who shakes his fist in God's face, insisting upon going his own way ' doing his own thing regardless of what anybody‚ especially God, thinks. But God will show great love ' pardon for the one who in humility ' repentance prays: "God be merciful to me a sinner" (Luk.18:13), ' with loving arms will gather him ' will care for him ' deliver him, just as He has all of us.

20. (Mama:) Look how we differentiated between the sin and the sinner in that Hope Magazine story about the teen witnessers who encountered and witnessed to two homosexuals. (See Hope Mag #33, pg.16-21.) The whole point of that story was to try to show our kids that even though Sodomy is a sin, the homosexual himself is a human being who can be delivered, and whom Jesus loves and wants to rescue. I'm well aware of the fact that Dad has expressed very strong feelings against the sin of Sodomy. But I have seen him sit with people who were afflicted by Sodomite spirits and lovingly witness to them, listening to their heartcry, sharing encouragement from the Word, and showing understanding of their problem.
21. So it's very important that we understand and teach this differentiation between the sin and the sinner to our children. This same principle applies to all the criminals in the prisons where we minister. No matter how great their crime, Jesus will forgive it if they will just come to Him. He offers His Love to "whosoever believeth in Him!" They just have to receive it.
22. When you start putting more emphasis on damning the sin than loving the sinner, watch out! God does everything possible to love us into His Kingdom first‚ before He initiates more severe measures. What won you to Jesus? Was it seeing your sins exposed one by one and being told you were "a filthy rotten sinner"? Were you belittled and criticized and condemned for all of the wrong you had done?—Or were you told it didn't matter what you had done; there was a wonderful loving Father Who loved you so much that He was willing to pay any price—the greatest price of all—to make a place by His side for you in Heaven where you could be forever happy and at peace with Him. Remember‚ "God commendeth (demonstrates) His love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us!"—Rom.5:8.
23. If people have to be free of their sins before we can love them, who will there be to love? If we start judging people on the basis of their sins‚ who is going to stand? "If Thou, Lord, shouldest mark iniquities, O Lord, who shall stand!"—Psa.130:3. We're all hopeless without God's Love‚ and that's the only thing that can save us.
24. It's true that as God's prophets we must warn the World of the evil, we must tell the World of its sins, we must warn them to repent‚ we must prophesy God's judgments. However, while God preaches hatred of the sin, He shows great love for the individual sinner‚ just as He did for each of us.
25. By the way, the saying "love the sinner but hate the sin" didn't originate with us; it's been around for years. In fact, it's what the Bible teaches. Even with your own children, you can love them very much but at the same time take a stand against their sins. While you may have to discipline them and chastise them because of their sins‚ your heart can be breaking because of your love for them.
26. So we need to teach our children not to look down on any people, but to realize it's the sins that God hates.—And that it's not necessarily our place to show God's abhorrence of the sin if we can reach the sinner without having to do so. Sometimes we do have to show our displeasure of the sin in order to reach some people, but not always. If we go to them in love, offering them God's Love and forgiveness of their sins in general, then we don't usually have to lash out against the sin in particular. It's so much better if we can show God's Love for the sinner rather than His hatred of the sin.
27. We have to be very careful as adults that we don't mix up the sin with the sinner and speak of the people themselves disparagingly, without making it clear that it is the sin we're talking about and not the poor people. We may understand the distinction in our minds, but our children often don't, and they'll just roll everything up into one and will become biased against anyone whom they perceive that we are talking about in a demeaning‚ belittling, antagonistic, critical or condemning way. Since we are God's Family of Love, trying to show His Love to the World, we'd better be very careful that we don't give the opposite impression.

(Maria: You know, Honey, even though you adhered to the doctrine that you had been taught about all unsaved Blacks being cursed, it didn't really affect your interaction with individual Blacks that you'd meet. You've always been very sweet to them, you've treated them like anyone else, with respect, ' you've been loving ' kind ' haven't shown any animosity or prejudice towards them in any way.) Yes, of course, why should I treat them any other way, any differently from anyone else?
18. (Maria: I don't think a lot of the people in the Family realize that's the way you have always treated Blacks.—Or Jews or even Sodomites, for that matter. I think our people would be shocked if they heard that you witnessed to those Sodomite actors in such an understanding way, that you gave them the message of God's Love‚ just as you would to anyone else‚ that you didn't condemn them or preach against the evils of Sodomy, but that you were interested in giving them the simple message of Salvation.
19. (That's how you always were with our Jewish friends in England ’ Tenerife too. You loved them ’ witnessed to them. You never cursed them for being Jews or said anything derogatory to them or about them. But I think that it's probably the furthest thing from some of our people's minds that you would conduct yourself in that way, especially in the minds of some of our younger people who tend to be so letter of the law in their thinking. … They don't know that even though you may speak out forcefully against some things, on an individual basis you have constantly shown love to others.)
20. Well, they should know now, because you've just told'm. Ha! I thought they'd get the point about that when they read your Letter‚ "God Is No Respecter of Persons!" (ML #2909, GN 583). I put my "Amen" at the end of it to reinforce it.
21. I often make strong‚ sweeping statements about evil, about the sins of Mankind‚ like abortion, Sodomy, the AC Jews ' all kinds of other things. It's my job to expose the Devil's work, to preach the Truth, to condemn the sin, but that does not mean that I condemn the sinner. I love people ' I want to bring them Salvation, God's Love‚ His Son Jesus! I certainly hope that our Family Members haven't gotten the wrong impression ' haven't been prejudiced against any group of people. I hope that they've been able to differentiate between hating the sin ' loving the sinner.

Family Young Men Imitating Homosexuals and Joking About Being Homosexual
65. (Mama:) I recently received the following comments from one of our SGA VSs:
66. "Something that I've noticed creeping into the ranks of some of our teens and YAs is jokingly acting out homosexual mannerisms and reactions. For example, the other day one of the teens said to me, 'Did you know that A. and P. (both teen boys) have a very special relationship?' I asked what this 'special' relationship was, and he told me how they're often making comments to each other as if they had something going. This teen continued, saying, 'Of course it's just a big joke to disgust the girls and get attention!'
67. "At a teen party in our city, some of the boys were joking around with each other, making comments like, 'May I have this dance?' or a boy would run his fingers through another boy's hair and say, 'You really turn me on.' A group of boys at this dance were so into this 'game' that they were excluding the girls, and when a girl came and asked one of the boys to dance, the boy beside him put on a big 'jealousy show.’ It's such a repulsive thing‚ but the young people talk about it openly, laughingly mimicking homosexuals, and thinking it's funny. They don't realize how dangerous it is, even though they're just joking.
68. "I wonder if this isn't a tactic through which the Devil is trying to subtly get in‚ and if maybe it's something that needs to be brought out and exposed‚ to wake them up to what they're toying with." (End of excerpt of report.)
69. (Mama:) I had one of the channels in our Home pray and ask the Lord what He thought about these games and this kind of joking around, and this is what He had to say:
70. (Jesus speaking:) These games are like children playing with matches. Mimicking the world, or homosexuality, or anything ungodly‚ is dangerous. Because even when you think you're doing it in jest or for fun, you are actually partaking of it just the same, and inviting those evil spirits in. It's a trick of the Enemy to make you think you're only imitating‚ but not actually doing it. It's part of the Devil's deceit‚ lies and cover-up to make you think it's okay to imitate things that are ungodly, even in jest.
71. This is one of the reasons I said you must be wise as serpents. The children of this world and the Enemy are wiser in the ways and workings of this world than My children, who are many times naïve, and sometimes stumble into the Enemy's lair, like babes in the woods. They think they're just imitating‚ mimicking and being cool, when actually they're playing with fire and it's very dangerous.
72. But My children don't have to be ignorant. You're not meant to be dumb sheep. To "be wise as serpents" means you're to be wise to the Serpent's devices—wise enough to foresee his traps and his devices. This makes you wiser than him, for you can discern his devices and avoid them. If the spirit of homosexuality can't come in through the front door, because it is so obvious, then she tries to come in the back door, in disguise, with the sheepskins of fun and games covering up her ugly face.
73. The spirit of seduction is loosed upon all the Earth in the Endtime, trying to blind the eyes of the world so that they cannot tell right from wrong and good from evil. It tells them that alternative lifestyles are good, violence is natural, and abortion is humane. These seducing spirits are growing more and more powerful and have also invaded the churches, to the point that many Christians are confused as to what is truth and do not even know the difference.
74. These same seducing spirits, foul birds and vultures, are no respecters of persons, and seek to deceive even the very elect. They prey on My children, who think they are just playing with matches.
75. Close the door to these unclean attitudes and do not partake of them even in jest, for they're not toys, but the fifth column of the Enemy. Your warfare is not a physical one, but spiritual, and the weapons of your warfare are mighty, to the tearing down of strongholds. You war against principalities and against spiritual wickedness in high places. Your young age has not made you exempt from the onslaughts of the Enemy, for he is no respecter of persons, whether young or old. His only thought is to destroy you and your usefulness.
76. Rebuke and bind this spirit of homosexuality that is masquerading in sheep's clothing, and do not imitate it or partake of it, even in jest. Try the spirits to see if they are of Me, for many false spirits are released on the world, including the spirit of antichrist to prepare for his coming. But you, My young men‚ come and be men, and put away childish things; for you are old enough to fight for the spirit of truth! Put on your armor and be sober‚ be vigilant, for your adversary the Devil, as a subtle liar‚ is stalking about, seeking whom he may deceive. Be not children in understanding and be not ignorant, but be mighty in spirit and be men of war! (End of message from Jesus)
77. (Mama:) You'll notice that in paragraph 72 in the above message the Lord refers to the evil spirit of homosexuality in the feminine form, saying, "If the spirit of homosexuality can't come in through the front door, because it is so obvious, then she tries to come in the back door, in disguise, with the sheepskins of fun and games covering up her ugly face." To understand this, please note this quote from Dad: "I think it's demonic that some men want to be like women. They're probably inhabited, possessed by female devils who do it deliberately to corrupt them‚ the Devil knowing it's an abomination to God!" (ML #2825:30).
78. After receiving the above message, we asked the Lord for further clarification and explanation as to the specific negative repercussions and effects that such jesting, which the Lord called "playing with fire‚" could lead to.
79. (Jesus speaking: ) Many evil, false and seducing spirits have been loosed into the world in these Last Days. They seek to gain entrance into the hearts and minds of men everywhere, and they seek for an opening, an invitation, a crack where they may enter in.
80. My children who love Me, who have received Me into their lives and who are serving Me, have many strong walls of defense and protection from the Heavenly realm. Yet My protection upon them is contingent upon their choices and upon their vigilance. If they're in tune with Me, if they're fighting to stay close to Me and to make the choices that will bring down My blessings‚ then I protect them from the vicious and fiendish attacks of these evil seducing spirits, like the spirit of homosexuality. Yet if they willfully, even after being warned, open the door to these spirits through their own foolishness and worldliness, they are indeed playing with fire and they may be burned.
81. You are no longer ignorant, for I am warning you and teaching you the dangers of these so-called "games." If you allow yourselves to get involved in this foolishness, and thus open the door to these evil spirits, they can enter in unnoticed and take root in your hearts and lives and thoughts.
82. The spirit of homosexuality seeks to oppress My sons with this affliction of the Enemy that has taken hold on so many in this Endtime. For the Devil has blinded the eyes of nearly the whole world, so that people everywhere now accept sodomy as a way of life and simply a different lifestyle, even considering it natural. Their spiritual sight is dim and they see not that this is an abomination in My sight, and goes against My will.
83. I call you, My children, to come out from among them and be not partakers of their sins. I call you to shut the door and to not give these evil spirits the slightest room to enter. You give them this allowance by mimicking and impersonating the behavior of homosexuals, and one step leads to another. After this first step of foolish imitation, you can start to think that maybe it's not that bad, that it's understandable how people could choose that way of life, and it might have its benefits.
84. It may shock you now to hear that you might think this way, but once you open the door to these spirits in any way, they will continue to try to affect your mind and turn your thoughts in their direction and their favor. They will tempt you with a contempt for women, which could eventually lead to your being tempted with strange thoughts and fantasies. These spirits will stop at nothing, as their goal is to eventually seduce you into partaking of their evil sexual deeds.
85. So beware! But fear not, for as long as you refuse and resist the Enemy's deceit, and give no place to this foolishness of mimicking and impersonating those who are afflicted by these seducing spirits, they will not find a door through which they can affect your mind and thoughts. You are Mine and I will protect you, but you must do your part and you must forsake this foolishness!
86. You must love Me as My brides, giving yourself wholly to Me in spirit‚ body and soul. You must not confuse your loving Me intimately as My bride with the behavior of those who are afflicted with these evil feminine spirits. There is no comparison between the two. The Enemy would seek to make you think that there is, and that because I have called you My brides in spirit‚ you have something in common with those who feel a physical and sexual attraction for another man. This is a lie and a temptation from the Devil, for he seeks to cause confusion.
87. In some cases, he causes the natural abhorrence of homosexuality to cause My sons to think that they cannot love Me intimately in spirit. This is not true‚ for I love and give My love and seeds to you all‚ whether male or female; it makes no difference. In other cases the Enemy seeks to wrongly use this beautiful gift of loving Me and to twist its interpretation‚ so that you, My children‚ no longer see the evil sins of the world as they are‚ but rather are tempted to think that you may have something in common with them. This is also a lie, and a dastardly attempt of the Evil One to take this beautiful, wholesome gift of My love and associate it in your minds with something perverse and unnatural, when in fact the two have no relation.
88. So, My children, be not unaware or ignorant of this device of the Enemy, but stay on guard against his seduction and foolishness. I have warned you and shown you the dangers of these things, so that if you have been tempted to imitate this ungodly behavior of sodomites, even mockingly or in jest, you will understand why I so strongly oppose it. I call you also to be your brothers' keepers, and that if you see others toying around with this evil, to help them raise a standard against the Enemy. (End of message from Jesus)
89. (Mama:) So you see, the Lord warns very strongly against what may seem to you to be an innocent game, because by opening a door for the Enemy, it can lead to things that you wouldn't ever consider doing or thinking now. We're in the Last Days, and the Devil knows he only has a short time left, and he's trying to do all the damage he can and hinder the Lord's children in any way possible. But Jesus, Who is in us, is so much greater than the god of this world. In love, the Lord is warning us about this device of the Enemy, so that you, our Family men, can be on guard against it and thus remain the strong, mighty, manly Endtime soldiers that He needs you to be.
90. Please take this admonition to heart and be your brother's keeper. Raise a standard against this vile, ugly, dangerous attack of the Enemy, as the Lord has asked you to.

Nonjudgmentalism—Another Sign of the End!
40. (Mama:) After hearing the following magazine article, we asked the Lord if He had anything to say about it—which of course He did! This article and the Lord's reply confirms the bad fruits of teaching "there are no absolutes‚" which has been the trend in American education for decades now. Here's the article, followed by the Lord's reply.
"Absolutophobia"

Overdosing on nonjudgmentalism is a growing problem in the schools. Two disturbing articles in the Chronicle of Higher Education say that some students are unwilling to oppose large moral horrors, including human sacrifice, ethnic cleansing‚ and slavery, because they think that no one has the right to criticize the moral views of another group or culture.
One of the articles is by Prof. Robert Simon‚ who teaches philosophy at Hamilton College in Clinton, N.Y. The other is by Kay Haugaard‚ who teaches creative writing at Pasadena City College in California. Haugaard writes that her students have a lot of trouble expressing any moral reservations or objections about human sacrifice. The subject came up when she taught her class Shirley Jackson's The Lottery, a short story about a small American farm town where one person is killed each year to make the crops grow.
One male said the ritual killing in The Lottery "almost seems a need." Asked if she believed in human sacrifice, a woman said‚ "I really don't know. Christina Hoff Sommers, professor of philosophy at Clark University in Massachusetts‚ points to a general problem of so many students coming to college "dogmatically committed to a moral relativism that offers them no grounds to think" about cheating, stealing, and other moral issues. Simon calls this "absolutophobia"—the unwillingness to say that some behavior is just plain wrong. The trend among some campus thinkers is to deny the existence of any objective truth: All we can have are clashing perspectives, not true moral knowledge. Values emerge as personal preferences, as unsuited for criticism or argument as personal decisions on pop music or clothes.
41. (Jesus speaking:) To fear Me and to keep My commandments is the whole duty of man. And because these, the children in the world, retain Me not in their thoughts, therefore their steps do slide. These lack in wisdom and in understanding, and their love grows cold.
42. As I have said, as it was in the days of Noah, so it will be in the days of My second coming. Therefore lift up your eyes and see, for these are the days of which I spoke. The days are come, and even now are, as in the times of old, when the people of the Earth did not retain Me in their thoughts. These are the days, My children, when iniquity doth abound. 43. Think it not strange when you see the signs of the times come to pass, but know that yet a little while and I will come for My Own. These are the days of sorrow, the days of coldness, the days of no feeling, no emotion among those who know not the love of the truth, the days of no love for many.
44. These are the days of choosing sides, and Satan's own are taking their stand. They're coming out, becoming more and more bold, revealing what has been in the making in their hearts for a long time. These who declare plainly and openly that they have no morals, no absolutes—these have been defiled. They're as pawns in the hands of the Wicked One, blind leaders of the blind and false teachers among the people, who walk about deceiving and being deceived.
45. These are the days of waxing cold, the days of deafness, of blindness, of increased lifelessness‚ of insensitivity to My Spirit. These are the days of gross darkness when men walk not in the love of the truth, but readily believe the lie. These are the days of no absolutes, no natural affection, no conscience. These are the days of lawlessness, the days of disorder‚ the days of chaos and every evil thing.
46. I say to you‚ My children, these are the days of sorrow for those who do not discern the signs of the times and who do not turn to Me for their hope and salvation. These are the days of conditioning the populace, as Satan is marshaling his forces for the great confusion. These are the days of preparing the masses. As they are put to sleep, they become numb, lifeless, without feeling‚ insensitive‚ cold. These are the days of preparation as the masses are darkened in their understanding and devoid of natural affection.
47. These who are without feeling, who have no absolutes, who are taking on the position of "neutralism," do choose to walk in darkness. For there are no neutrals, and those who choose this stance of nonjudgmentalism leave themselves open to receive strong delusion that they might believe the lie.
48. These who would appear to be nonjudgmental are in fact passing judgment on the truth. By denying that there is a Center, that there is an Absolute, they are passing judgment on My truth. There are no neutrals. There's no sitting still. You're either for Me or against Me. He who will not stand up and oppose evil, accepts and promotes evil. For all that is necessary for evil to flourish is that men choose to be rendered neutral. By sitting back and refusing to stand up for the right, they are accepting the wrong. In their unwillingness to take a stand for what is morally right, they're promoting what is morally wrong. When men turn a blind eye, evil flourishes. By accepting the way of no rules, no morals, and no values‚ one accepts the road to no faith‚ no conviction, no freedom, no rhyme, no reason, no order, and no truth.
49. These are the days of destruction, for by destroying faith in the truth, the Enemy is conditioning the masses. He's lining up his forces—those who will speak out on his behalf, those who will spread his propaganda of no morals, no values‚ no regard for human life, no true moral knowledge, no principles, no absolutes. Through advancing his doctrine of "there are no morals and anything goes," Satan's own —those who are darkened in understanding and who receive not the love of the truth—will be persuaded to persecute the righteous, for by their own evil conscience they will justify their actions. Through their own hardness of heart and cold, frigid spirits, they will not be moved with compassion, but will shrug in indifference as they justify their actions in their minds and hearts. With no regard for human life, they will follow the Son of Perdition in all his ways.
50. Today they take their stand, tomorrow they will put their words into action—both those who will help the Evil One carry out his dirty work, and those of the masses, who through indifference, through having no absolutes and a lack of true values, have become hardened in their hearts as they turn a blind eye, standing by while evil runs rampant.
51. It has begun. It is in motion. What you see happening in the world today will escalate. The no-purpose society with no values, no absolutes, and no morals is underway. All this is paving the way to accept their king, the Antichrist, who has gone out into the world. His kingdom has come down to everyday living, to where more and more with each passing day, chaos runs wild in the streets. It's no longer a matter of fiction, something to be seen only by the farthest stretch of the imagination, on the bookstands or the movie screen—but it has come to real life. Day after day Satan propagates his lies; they flourish as the masses fall prey to his deceits.
52. These are the perilous times of which I spake. For are not men and women lovers of their own selves? Do they not follow after their own covetous ways? Are there not boasters and the proud who will not bow their heads in love and humility? Are men not blasphemers from nation to nation—in the government and in public institutions‚ from all realms of society, high and low? Do they not curse Me and take My Name in vain? Do they not speak blasphemy toward Me in their media‚ in their rallies‚ in their highly exalted cinema‚ worshipped by the masses?
53. Are not these the days where the children of the world are disobedient to parents‚ unthankful, unholy, without natural affection, trucebreakers and false accusers? Are they not unrestrained, uncontrollable, fierce‚ despisers of those that are good? Are there not many who love perverted pleasure more than God? Are there not those who are traitors‚ high-minded, ever learning but never coming to the knowledge of the truth? Is the Earth not filled with murderers of the innocent, those who commit atrocities, violence, crime‚ and horrendous horrors?—Those who practice ungodly behavior, who rob and steal and give false witness?
54. These are the days of no absolutes and the days of preparation, for the Evil One makes ready. He paves the way for his entrance. He's conditioning the masses, that through these evil men and seducers he might destroy the work of God. As he spreads his propaganda, he attempts to rally his forces amongst those who will do his dirty work to fight against the saints of the Most High, seeking to destroy them that do good.
55. In his propagation of a society with no values, he seeks to destroy the work of God, and this he will do with men and women who even now are swallowing his evil doctrines, as you see manifested in this article. Through his doctrine of devils, he conditions the masses and gains sympathy for his cause, as he casts a deep sleep over those who will not discern and who are void of understanding.
56. By clever ways, Satan seeks to play on social issues, to make it a fashionable thing, in vogue, a matter of ethnic background, a matter of multiculturalism. But I say, there is a way that would seem right to a man, but the end thereof is the way of death—and it is through these fashionable trends that Satan is preparing the way for his coming. As he conditions the masses, feeding them with lies, he makes ready for his acceptance. He marshals his forces amongst those who will back him in his war against the saints of the Most High.
57. But you, My children, have nothing to fear, for I am your Strong Tower, and evil cannot overcome the truth! Therefore, keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it spring forth the issues of life. And be not conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. For you, My children, have the one true Center. I am your Center‚ by which you can judge all things. I am your Absolute. I am the Judge of all things‚ and My ways are not the ways of man that will come to ruin.
58. I would that you, My children‚ judge all things‚ for the way of nonjudgmentalism is the way of death. For it is not given to you to stand by in ignorance, passively watching as evil men and seducers spread their evil lies. But it is given to you to judge righteous judgment‚ to speak the truth. 12. (Dad:) So many movies that come out nowadays have at least one sodomite in them. Many movies portray this ungodly sin. The Bible talks about sodomy, and the Lord says very clearly that He hates it. In fact, He destroyed the entire cities of Sodom and Gomorrah for their wickedness and their turning their backs on Him and His natural gifts and God-given attitudes towards sex.
13. God hates sodomy! He loves the sodomites just like He loves any other sinner, but He hates the sin! It disgusts Him and it makes Him hot with righteous anger! Now, in the worldly movies, how many times do they portray it as a sin? Rarely, if ever! Most of the time it's portrayed as an attribute, as a good thing, as a part of life, as just somebody's choice to live their life that way. Well, I'll tell you what, God hates it and I hate it too!
14. Movies breed this sort of wishy-washy attitude which eats away at your convictions, to where you don't get so angry about sodomy anymore. You don't feel that godly anger well up within you anymore. You start to kind of accept sodomy as a way of life. Or you say, "Oh, that's just the way things are out there in the world. That's just somebody's choice. That's the way they want to live."
15. So that's part of the influence that movies have on you. They continually portray sodomy as okay, that it's good, that it's just a different lifestyle, that it's just an individual's choice. They add sodomites here and there in the movies in little parts; they're portrayed as good people, as kind souls. You look at their personality and you see that they're good people. You start to actually like the people and think that the sin is not so bad, when really you should be getting steaming mad about it and rebuking the Enemy and praying for those poor people who are oppressed by this vice of the Evil One!
17. Sodomy is a sin, folks, and although sinners can be nice people, it's dangerous to identify with such a blatant sin! You should love them‚ witness to them and win them if you can, of course. The Lord loves them just like He does you. You just need to keep your convictions strong about what's right and wrong!

80. (Mama: ) There's a general trend in the world today toward "open–mindedness‚" with a multitude of opinions and a large quantity of information floating around—often facts mixed together with theories. Through movies, TV, the news media‚ the Internet, and even in your witnessing and ministering, this abundant input from all kinds of worldly sources seems to surround you sometimes. With so many available options‚ how do we know that the Word is the right opinion?
81. (Dad: ) The Word is what I built this Family on. The Word of the Lord is what brought this whole revolution together! I was nothing. I didn't think I had what it took to be a great leader, teacher or prophet, and I didn't—I just followed the Lord! I gave His Word, come what may, and that was the foundation of this Family. And the foundation of the Family hasn't changed.
82. Our Family was built on the firm rock of the Word. We weren't built on the sand; otherwise when the winds and storms came, we would have fallen flat on our faces. This Family was built on the pure solid rock of the Word of God, and that's the only reason why we've made it thus far, why we've survived so many revolutions, so many persecutions‚ so many changes, so many time periods, fads and trends.
83. The Family is like a house that was built on the good foundation of the Word. Over the years we've replaced different things in the makeup of the house. We've changed procedures, we've changed the way we did things—like changing the windows, giving the house a new paint job, replacing tiles on the roof, or putting in new carpet. We've changed and moved with the Spirit of God, but we've never taken away the foundation of the Word, because that's what really keeps the whole house of the Family together.
84. The Word is the only sure factor in the world today. This Family is not based on anything else save the Word of God. I always preached that and lived that, and now Mama and Peter are preaching that and living it more than ever before. They're pumping out more Word than ever before, getting out the millions for the billions—Letters and wonderful counsel from Heaven about every topic under the sun.
85. How on earth can some of you think that you can do without the Word? Maybe you think that you know better or that you've become intelligent and smart by increasing your knowledge through avenues of the Enemy—worldly books, movies, TV, the Internet, etc. Some of you have let yourself become deluded into thinking that your opinion, or the opinion of some worldly author or celebrity, is just as good as the Lord's opinion and Word, or the words that He gave me and Mama. Let me tell you, opinions are one thing but the Word is another! Maybe it's because you haven't been around long enough to know that everything can change—the Family can change, the whole world can change—but the only thing that's going to last forever is the Word!
86. If you don't respect the Word, you'd better watch out! You're poking your finger directly in God's eye, and He won't stand for it. You're not just personally offending Mama and Peter when you doubt the Word or count it as simply another opinion and store it away in your memory banks and information files, but you're offending God! He's not going to stand for your indifference for very long. He'll stop talking to you if you won't listen.
87. His Word is not like a newspaper where you can pick and choose and decide to believe what you want and then throw the rest in the trash can! How can you hold the knowledge that you receive from books, movies, System magazines‚ Internet pages and other information sources of the System in higher regard than the Word of the Lord? Don't you think that's a pretty dangerous position to be in? Don't you see that this is a deadly attack of the Enemy on your soul? He's planting his evil seeds of indifference‚ "open-mindedness," and a wishy-washy, string-for-a-backbone type of lukewarm conviction.
88. Are you like a jellyfish that's going to get beat around by the waves and go with the flow, wherever the currents of this world lead you? Are you going to be as flabby and see-through as a jellyfish‚ with no real substance or purpose in life? Are you being duped by the knowledge of this world, and is it alienating you from the life-giving Words of the Lord? Or are you aboard our ship that is firmly anchored with the Word and will not be moved, even though the waves will no doubt beat upon it?
89. I'll tell you‚ if you're not fully on board the ship that is anchored with the Word, you'll not last long out there in the open sea of knowledge. There are sharks and other predators out there! You'll soon find yourself starving for lack of nourishment. Without the life, light‚ warmth and spirit of the Word, you'll soon start to slowly die and lose your usefulness to the Lord.
90. Folks, the Word is not just another opinion in the polls! You can't just take the Word and pick and choose what you believe and what you don't believe. The Lord gives us well-balanced meals‚ and if you're picking and choosing what you want to eat—throwing some away and supplementing it with junk food—you'll soon find that your hankering for junk food will grow and grow until you no longer desire the pure‚ fresh Word of God.
91. There are a lot of theories in the world today and a lot of information, but not all of it is true or good. The Enemy has designed this "information overload" to confuse people as to what's right and wrong, good or bad, truth or deception. Since the boundaries are no longer so clear to them, they become willing to take in a little bit of almost everything. One of his biggest devices is to cause people to become so open-minded that they begin to believe that there are no absolutes, no right or wrong. As rampant as this "anything goes" attitude is in the world today, it's no wonder it's also creeping into the ranks of our Family. But you should sit up and take notice and become aware of the Enemy's devices!
92. I'm not meaning to declare that you can never read other informative books or receive added information from other sources besides the Word. The danger comes when you start replacing the Word with worldly knowledge and turning to its wisdom and solutions, esteeming it above the Word.
93. Everything you read and everything you hear should be balanced and judged by the Word. You can research the Letters, or if there's nothing in the Word already about it, you can hear directly from Heaven. There's a lot of information in the world today, and that's the danger. It all looks so good and is presented so well, it's very enticing and appealing to the eyes, but some of it is just plain wrong or misleading, especially when it leads you away from the Lord and His Word. You have to be more aware than ever that the Enemy is out to destroy your faith in the Word.
94. If you're one of the ones who's been duped by the System's knowledge and has given it a higher place than the Lord's Word, then I'd strongly suggest that you have a fast from all System input for a while until you get fully rewired and plugged into the Source once again. Otherwise, if you're not honest with yourself and if you don't take this stand to keep your feet firmly fixed upon the only absolute in the world today, you're going to find yourself getting weaker and weaker, to the point where you won't even be able to tell right from wrong anymore. That's what's happened to millions of people all over the globe. They don't even know what's right and wrong, truth or fiction, real or unreal, good or evil—they're brainwashed by the System's indifference and lack of discernment and spiritual principles.
95. If you catch yourself looking to the word of the System above the Word of the Lord‚ you'd better sit up quick and pray desperately for the Lord to help you see things as He sees them. When you receive so much worldly input on a regular basis, your eyes can become blinded to the evidence of the spirit world and the beauties and answers that come from the halls of Heaven. You'll become alienated from the life of God if you don't watch out, because these other avenues of information slowly creep in and take the place of God's Word in your heart. It's never something that happens overnight; it's a gradual process, and if you don't put a stop to it, it will destroy your usefulness to the Lord.
96. Like I said, the foundation of this Family—and the foundation of any Christian, for that matter—should be the Word. If you don't hold on to the Word for dear life, you're going to find yourself slipping into the oblivion of little or no usefulness to the Lord. He wants to use you, each and every one of you, but He can only do so if you keep your mind stayed on Him and His Word, rather than forming your thoughts, conclusions, and philosophies based on the world's mass of information confusion.
97. If you want your tree to continue bearing fruit, then you'd better remain planted by the rivers of His water, rather than letting parts of your roots drink from the sewers of the System. You can test the waters here and there to see if they're good, but your measuring stick should always be the Word, the Word, the Word!
98. Okay, have I hammered this nail in long enough? Have I driven the point home? I think I've said all that needs to be said, but it's up to you what you do with this counsel and warning. You know your heart and you know whether you're drawing your conclusions from the Word or from other System ideologies. So I'm trusting that you'll all be honest with yourselves and make sure you're drinking in the pure waters; not the pollutants of Satan, or even that which may seem and taste good and pure, but is filled with chemicals that will eat you away from the inside out.

7. (Jesus speaking:) The main area in which you've compromised is not only by not holding to My Words closely enough, but also through not rejecting and casting aside all that goes against My teachings, which is equally as important to Me. Have I not said, "Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you"?
8. The Enemy is always looking for a way to get you to compromise in order to weaken you, your beliefs and convictions, with the goal to ultimately render you useless to Me. One of the tactics he's using most these days is that of compromise in what you believe and accept, trying to trick you into thinking that you can believe and do My will and what I say, but at the same time rebel against being what he likes to call "narrow-minded," and getting you to accept beliefs, doctrines or lifestyles that go against My Word—or at least not actively shunning and rejecting them.
9. The spirit of so–called "open–mindedness" and "anything goes" that is so prevalent in the world today is a ploy of the Enemy; it's the spirit of compromise, the spirit of Pan. My Word is clear and remains true and the same: You cannot serve God and mammon. You cannot do both. You cannot please both Me and the world, for we are at great odds with each other.
10. Pan is viciously attacking you, My children. He seeks to blur the lines of good and evil, right and wrong, with his lies and half–truths; this is his mission. He is the spirit of confusion. He is a liar seeking to ensnare and trick you into accepting just about anything and everything‚ thus causing you to compromise.
11. You must be more vigilant‚ more on guard, more wary, faithfully measuring everything by the yardstick of My Word. You must walk more circumspectly. "Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate‚ and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it."
12. As time goes on I will be calling you, My bride, out more and more that you might be separate unto Me, clean and pure. I'm calling you out from the world. I'm requiring you to shun the things of the world, to not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers‚ to follow My example.
13. Was I accepted by the world? Was I politically correct? Did My sayings and teachings sit well with the world? Did everything I said make perfect sense to everyone? Was it all understood and accepted by others? Was I understood, respected, and loved by all? No! Did it matter? No! I had a job to do, I had the truth to give, and I was determined to give it no matter what. Many of My sayings were hard sayings that cut people to the heart, and many walked with Me no more because of them. I was despised, rejected, and hated of men, and so will you be.
14. As the days grow darker and iniquity abounds, you, My children, and the world will be increasingly unable to reconcile with each other. There will be no two ways about it. You have the light of truth‚ you know right from wrong, you have My commandments. Let not the Enemy confuse and deceive you into compromising.
15. You must be more vigilant and careful now. You must begin readying yourself now by holding to My Words of truth ever so closely and by guarding your heart and mind. You must be committed to believe and obey all that I have said, even if you don't understand it all.
16. Stay true to My Words of truth and be committed to stand by and up for them no matter what. Even if you don't understand everything, even if some things seem a bit extreme or even strange, you must be committed to follow Me where'er I lead. Your highest desire must be to please Me and to obey, even if you don't understand it all, for understanding is the reward of obedience.
17. Hold to My Words of truth and be not deceived, but be prepared. And you will be if you are faithfully living in My Words, for then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free from the great confusion that is falling on all the world.
18. Stay dropped out. Stay vigilant in spirit. Be My dropped-out disciple, one who follows My teachings closely. Stay clean and pure through receiving, believing, and obeying My Word, and so shall you be prepared to do all that I would have you do.
19. In order to pass the big tests, you must first pass the little ones. In order to be able to stand strong for Me in the big things, you must first stand strong in the little ones. You are My bride, the bride of Christ; therefore be wise, be sober, be vigilant.
20. Keep yourself for Me alone. Stay true to Me in all things. Have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them. Keep your heart with all diligence. Open-mindedness—Pan's Old Tune
52. (Jesus speaking:) Pan has worked to try to get you to open your mind to him. You have listened to him as he has piped supposed sweet music to your ears, and you have opened your mind to him and have been afflicted with his "open–minded" trip. Oh, this is an old trip, for there are many examples in My Word of Pan playing the same tune to those who watched and beheld My servants following and speaking the things I gave.
53. It wasn't very open-minded of Noah to build the biggest boat anyone had ever seen, on dry land, and not heed the cries of those about him that it was foolishness and folly, was it? It wasn't very open–minded of Elijah to call down fire from Heaven to oppose the ideas of the priests of Baal, was it? It wasn't open-minded of Elijah to tell Jezebel that she and her followers were doomed to years of famine and pestilence because they served a god other than Me.
54. This attack of Pan has been around for many years, and My prophets have had to defy him through the ages. He's been piping the same tune for generations upon generations. He's an old piper and his lies have been circulating for many a year. Why do you think he's such a powerful demon? It's because his methods have had success, and Satan keeps promoting him to where he now sits on his council and is a god of this world. The world worships him because they worship the mind of man. You cannot hold on to both because they are in continual conflict. Whatever the Lord says, the Devil must say otherwise. Whatever the Devil says, the Lord has already said the opposite. So you cannot serve two masters; either you will hold to the one and despise the other, or you will hate the one and love the other. There is no middle of the road!

65. (Jesus speaking:) Open-mindedness is common to youth, especially some Family youth‚ and this is due to a direct assault of Pan. He tries to belittle the strong beliefs that come with discipleship and instead tries to get you to be worldly, open-minded, and tolerant of evil.

He likes to make you think that you're being fair, just, willing to learn and not so brittle and stuck in a mindset, but really he cheats you because he doesn't open your mind to everything, only that which he wants to allow. If he had his way he'd open your mind to the world and shut out the godly things of the spirit!
67. Look at that word, "open-mindedness." It means your mind is open. And who controls the principality of the Devil's attacks on the mind? Pan does. So nothing would please him better than an open mind—an open mind just ready and waiting to be filled by him. Ugh!
68. Resist him, steadfast in the faith! Close your mind to the Devil's garbage and sink your mind into the waters of My Spirit! Don't listen to Pan's lies and confusions that tell you that you need to be open to various System opinions, thoughts, mindsets, and lifestyles. Don't let him tell you that it's uncool and conservative to be so "religious" and "closed–minded." Thank God that you can be closed-minded to the wrong things! Close your mind to Pan and his deviltry, and open your mind to Me and My Heavenly wisdom‚ truths, and insights!
69. As with all of the Devil's kingdom, Pan is, at best‚ a pretender. He knows this, and is inferior. At the heart of each demon is the knowledge that they are inferior to Me‚ to the real thing. Why else do you think he wishes to overcompensate by coming in such a fair form, bejeweled and gold–encrusted? He hopes to dazzle you so that you will not look closely to see that his wisdom is paltry sticks and mud compared to My treasure storehouses of truth. He is nothing‚ and I have much, much more to give you! A mind that is yielded to Me can be so much more powerful and enlightened than one that is yielded to Pan. So do not allow him entrance.
