—Sample Prayers for ALL!
Following are sixteen "Power Prayers"—sample prayers to help you be powerful prayer warriors for Jesus! You don't have to memorise these prayers, or pray them all the time, or even pray the whole prayer each time—but they are to give you ideas & examples of how you can pray for the important areas of our daily life for Jesus.
Some of the prayers may seem quite long, & of course we don't always need to pray such long prayers, but the reason these are long is because we've included lots of details. Sometimes when we pray, we're not specific enough in our prayers—so these sample prayers are to help you. You might like to choose different points in the prayer each time you pray & only pray certain points at a time.
Another thing you could do is photocopy these prayers so each one praying has a copy. Then when you pray, each person could pray only one or two sentences or a paragraph—with the first one praying the first part, the second one praying the next part, etc. That way, everyone will have a chance to participate. Sometimes you might want to have everyone read aloud unitedly.
If you read these prayers on your own, privately, you might want to make them more personal by reading the word "me" in place of "us", & "my" in place of "our", wherever it is not already personalised. Even in group reading if you feel it is more effective, & will drive the point home better, you can likewise change the collective "we" or "us" to the individual "I", "me", "my", etc. Some of the prayers were originally written more personally, others not. You may change them as you wish. Sometimes if unity & pulling together is what's needed, the "we" & "us" are more effective; other times it may be more important for each person to apply the prayer to himself—then the personal pronouns "I" & "me" & "my" are more useful.
These prayers, while they were originally intended for our children, are just as good for the Teens & adults. We think that as sample prayers, they're tremendous for the whole Family! Therefore, we're not publishing this only for kids as had originally been planned, but we're making it a magazine for the entire Family. We will be sending out a few extra copies to each Home, with the desire that you use them to the fullest extent possible.
PTL! We pray that these prayers will be a blessing to you! And remember, "Your prayers can do mighty things!" & "The effectual, fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much." (Jam.5:16b) God bless you as you wield the weapon of the Word in prayer! We love you!
Dear Jesus, I really love You! Thank You for a good sleep & for keeping me & protecting me throughout the night. Thank You for this special new day. PYL! TYJ! ILY, Jesus! Prepare me for the many surprises, challenges, changes & all the new things You want me to learn & do today. Please teach me to trust You & know that everything that happens today is going to work together for my good because I love You, Jesus, & You love me. (Rom.8:28)
I want to spend this whole day with You! I want to take hold of Your hand & walk close by Your side & let You lead the way. Please don't let me forget & suddenly let go of Your hand & run off somewhere on my own or lag behind, or try to do things without You, or try to make You go my way & do what I want to do. Help me walk in step with You & under the umbrella of Your protection & in Your perfect Will.
I want a fresh NEW start today. I want to be clean all over inside & outside like a sparkling window. Please help me to wash in Your wonderful Words of Life & Truth & shine for You all day & let everyone see how wonderful You are & how good it is to have You in my heart as my Best Friend.
Please keep me from making any serious mistakes, & especially help me in (name the NWO area you want most help on today). But if I do fail in any way, please help me not to get discouraged & feel defeated, but ask for Your help & forgiveness right away & resist the Enemy & learn the lessons You want me to learn, & most of all come closer to You.
Thank You so much for ALL You've blessed me with: My Home, my Family, good health, a sound mind, for supplying my every need—both physical & spiritual. As I begin the day, help me to also put on a happy thankful smiling face full of Your love & joy so I can be a blessing, a good sample & an inspiration to everyone in the Home. Please fill me to overflowing with Your Holy Spirit, so that others will see YOU in me! TYJ! Help me to REJOICE evermore, PRAY without ceasing & in everything give THANKS & let Your joy be my strength today. (1Thes.5:16-18a; Neh.8:10b)
If I get worried or doubtful, please remind me to stop & take time to talk to You about it. You are the same yesterday, today & forever, Jesus! (Heb.13:8) You abide faithful. You have kept me every day of my life so far & I know You will keep me through THIS day also. Help me put on Your whole armour today (Eph.6:11) so that I can stop all the fiery attacks of the Enemy & fight the good fight of faith like a good soldier. (Eph.6:13-17; 1Tim.6:12) PTL! I dedicate this day to You, dear Jesus, & pray for Your Spirit to help me to be faithful, diligent & loyal, in Jesus' name, amen.

Thank You, Jesus, for being my Best Friend Who I can always talk to & share my heart with. Please help me, Jesus, to spend special time alone with You each day. Help me to have a hunger & thirst for Your fellowship, & not allow anything to distract me or get in the way from having this time with You. Help me to cherish it.
Also, Lord, help me stay close to You all day, no matter what I am doing—eating, playing, studying, working, or even resting, & to remember You even while I do these things. Teach me to be prayerful & to know that without You, I can do nothing. Lord, I want to make prayerfulness a habit & I claim the verses that if in all my ways I acknowledge You, You shall direct my paths, & "Pray without ceasing." Help me to have a prayerful day, Lord, starting right now. Teach me to pray, not only for the usual things, like meals, classes, Get-Outs, videos, bedtime, etc., but also for the little things—when I drink a glass of water, brush my teeth, take a shower, get dressed, talk with my friends, climb stairs, even when I go to the toilet! Help me to pray over the steps that I take & where I go, little decisions I have to make, what I listen to or hear, what I see, what I say & what I think. I don't know all of the things that are going to happen today, but You do, Lord, so please prepare me & help me to look to You in all things.
Lord, I want to learn to make prayerfulness a way of life, a habit, so that I automatically pray for everything. Help me to learn to turn every thought into a prayer. When something goes wrong, Lord, help me to ask You what You are trying to show me! When things go well, help me to give You all the glory; & however things go, help me not to be too proud to pray & sing & praise You aloud!
Thank You, Jesus, that I can talk with You all the time & know that You're right there listening to everything I say, & that You'll answer me according to Your Will in the way that You know is best. Thank You Jesus! I love you!

Dear Jesus, thank You for this wonderful life You have given us & for making us a Family where we can live & love & serve You in these exciting Last Days. Thank You Jesus for fulfilling Your Word & setting up one Shepherd over us who feeds us Your Words. (Eze.34:23,24) Thank You Jesus for Grandpa!
Lord, we pray for Grandpa's health, that You will strengthen him & help him to really feel well. Please keep his heart good & strong, as well as his eyes & his teeth. Help him not to have any trouble with coughing. Lord Jesus, please bless the dear cook who cooks Grandpa's food, help it be tasty, inspiring & healthful so he can really enjoy his meals. Please help it go down easily & well & give nourishment & strength to his body & be easily digested. We rebuke the Enemy & any trouble with swallowing or trouble with digestion or his bowels. Help his meals to be peaceful & to bring him real pleasure. Jesus, we rebuke any ill health or sickness or bad spirits that would try to afflict Grandpa.
Lord, we pray You will give Grandpa peaceful, restful, sweet sleep & dreams & happy & inspiring wake-ups. We rebuke any bad dreams & restless sleep. Your Word says, "I will both lay me down in peace & sleep, for Thou Lord, only makest me dwell in safety." (Psa.4:8)
We rebuke the Devil & Grandpa's enemies who would try to stir up trouble or stop or hinder him from his great work. Protect him with Your Angels & guide him with Your Holy Spirits, Lord, like Abrahim & Moses & King David of old. Lord, put Thy Spirit 'round about him like a shield so the Enemy cannot penetrate & bother, afflict or hinder him.

Help us to be obedient children of David—obedient to You & Your Word, the Heavenly vision & our Shepherds—dedicated, loyal & on fire as we have been taught through the Word & sample of our Shepherd David. Thank You Lord!
Thank You Lord for our Queen, Mama Maria, who faithfully cares for Grandpa & has treasured the Words You have poured out through him. Thank You for her faithfulness to pass them on to us. Thank You for how she has always encouraged & loved Grandpa & helped give him faith to keep going & to be a fighter for You!
Please bless Mama Maria's eyes, Jesus. Heal them if it is Your Will, or if not, help her to know how to carry on her work without the use of them. Give her good health & strength & help her not to have any headaches. Lord Jesus, we rebuke the Enemy & any afflictions he might try to bother her with. Please bless her in the big job she has & in all her work & projects. Please also bless all those who help her in all she does in caring for Grandpa, the Word & Thy worldwide Work. Help those who have the job of reading everything to her on tape to read clearly & expressively—to be good "eyes" for her.

Thank You Jesus that You have given us a Family & that we are Your sheep in Your fold. But, Lord, You also said that You have "other sheep, which are not of this fold," (Jn.10:16)& we want to pray now for those who we have met or heard about.
Thank You that You so faithfully lead us to Your sheep when we are out witnessing. We pray for those who have received the lit or Tapes or Videos, or who we have sung or witnessed to, that the Word will bring forth good fruit. Please help the ones who are hungry for more to write or get in touch with us, or to respond when we write, so we can feed them more Word. Please bless those who have been in touch with us, Jesus, especially (name sheep, DFers, COL members, etc.). Thank You that they are receiving the Word, & we pray that their hearts will be very good ground that will bring forth a hundredfold! (Mat.13:8) TYJ!

Please protect us from accidents, Lord. I promise to do my best to give You my cooperation by heeding Your checks & "pondering the paths of my feet" so that I won't go astray. (Pro.4:26) Jesus, I don't want to be like Snowflake, so please help me to remember to listen to & obey my Get-Out instructor & to stick together with my Get-Out team.
We are really thankful for this good equipment (specify objects) You've provided. Help us to be good stewards of it & to use it wisely & in the right way, & not foolishly or dangerously, & to put it away properly after we're done with it & to take good care of it.
We know, Lord, that You've given us all different talents & strengths, & some are weaker & some are stronger. Please help us to adjust our play or work to the speed & strength of those we are with, & to be mindful of those that are a little weaker. TYJ!
Jesus, please do bless, protect & keep us as we go out & help us to unite together in fun fellowship while exercising our bodies, in Jesus' name, amen.

Thank You so much, Jesus, for Your protection, care & Love. Thank You for the many promises of protection in Your Word, & that You give Your Angels charge over us to keep us in all our ways. (Psa.91:11) We are so thankful that You have your protection about us every day. Thank You Jesus!
We pray that You will keep us today from accidents or falls, in the house or in the yard, or if we go out anywhere. Help us, Lord, to do what WE can to be safe in whatever we do. We know that accidents do not just happen, but they are caused by lack of love or lack of prayerfulness, or by carelessness. Please help us to do our best to make it impossible for accidents to happen, to pray without ceasing (1Th.5:17) in all that we do, & to really listen to & obey those who are overseeing us. Help us to be mindful of all the little things You show us & to keep our eyes open for anything that may be unsafe. And please, Jesus, even if we do make mistakes, please protect us & keep us safe. Strengthen our Guardian Angels & help them to do a good job, because we really need them, Jesus, & we need Your protection.

Protect the handymen, cooks, drivers, shoppers, provisioners, witnessers, childcare workers, happy helpers on cleaning & laundry, mommies with babies, the children with their schooling, leaders & everyone in the jobs that they are doing for You & Your Family. Bless & keep our Family everywhere.
We also pray for Your protection from the dangers & problems in the World around us. Thank You Jesus that You are in control of everything that happens. (Psa.91:7) We trust in You, Lord, to keep us & to continue to set Your Angels round about us. (Psa.34:7)

Thank You Jesus for making Your Law of Love so simple, just two Great Commandments: That we should love God with all our hearts & our neighbours as ourselves. (Mk.12:30,31) Please help us to live by these laws of love. Jesus, we love You because You first loved us & gave Your life for us. (1Jn.4:19) Thank You Jesus for all that You have given us: Salvation, the Holy Spirit, Your Word, a loving Family, a Home where we live & learn, good food & health—such a wonderful life full of Love! Thank You for all of the special things You do for us each day. Please help us now to "love our neighbours" by witnessing, going out to share You & Your Words with the waiting World. Show us where to go & guide us by Your Spirit to Your lost sheep, those whose hearts You have prepared. Please give us a burden & broken heart for the lost so that the love of Christ will really motivate & constrain (compel) us! (2Cor.5:14a)—Even when we're tired or don't feel well or are shy or fearful.
Help us to have Your Love & concern for those to whom we witness, Jesus. We want to show YOU, not ourselves & to speak YOUR Words, not our own. Help us to put aside our personal problems & trials as we go out the door & not bring them with us, so we can have Your joy & help others find You & Your Kingdom. Help us not to be shy or self-conscious, but to let You shine in us & through us.
Thank You for Grandpa teaching us that we should first listen to what the people are saying or asking & then listen to You for the answers You want us to give them from Your Word. Give us wisdom to be good fishers of men (Mat.4:19), & the conviction to lead them in prayer to Salvation. Show us which Tapes, Posters, or Videos would be good to offer them. Help us to remember that we are to be faithful to witness to everyone You lead us to, & not to worry about funds, as You promised to supply our every need (Phil.4:19) & we know You will, Lord.
Please help us to stay close to our Shepherds & partners & to have real unity & good teamwork. Help us to be "wise as serpents & harmless as doves" (Mat.10:16), to be prepared for any security problems, & to wisely give an answer to him that asks. (Col.4:6; 1Pet.3:15b) Give us any checks in the Spirit to remind us of things we have forgotten or plans that need to change.
Thank You, Jesus, for the whole armour of God that we wear. (Eph.6:11,13) Please preserve our going out & our coming in. (Psa.121:8) Protect & keep us & our transportation as we go into this exciting battle, & please give us good weather. We rebuke the Devil, who doesn't want us to set his prisoners free. We claim the promise, "Greater are You, Jesus, Who is in us than he that is in the World." (1Jn.4:4) We rebuke pride, shyness, sickness, & anything that the Enemy would try to use to stop us from going out whole-heartedly. We pray for the fighting spirit of David, for boldness to proclaim Your Truth to those who will hear. Please give us wisdom to avoid those who would try to hinder or stop us from witnessing. Help us to be single-minded in our mission, not to get tripped-off or influenced by the things we see in the System. Please keep us healthy & protect us from dirt & germs & cleanse any food or drink that we are offered.
Thank You Jesus for this high calling to be Your Endtime witnesses. Please bless & keep us as we obey Your commandment to go into all the World & preach the Gospel to every creature. (Mk.16:15) Help us to reap a great harvest for You & Your Kingdom. In Jesus' name we pray.

Thank You for (our teacher) teaching us & for all that You've supplied so we can have this class. Dear Jesus, thank You for all those whom I will see, talk to, work & play with today. Thank You for how Your Word helps me be more LOVING & KIND & CONSIDERATE towards others, & them with me. You ARE Love & You know how much we love You by how much we show love to others. Thank You Jesus for Your Love that You show to me in so many ways. Thank You for helping me to grow & learn lessons so that I can be what You want me to be. Thank You for giving me Your Word & my Shepherds, parents & teachers to lead me in the paths You want me to go. Help me to receive their Godly correction & to see it as an opportunity to learn.
Jesus, help me to take this correction cheerfully, even if it's hard for me at first. I need to see it like the airplane pilot who is thankful for the man in the control tower giving him instructions & corrections so that he can take off or land the plane safely. Just like the pilot who may not be able to see why he should turn right or left or go faster or slower, help me to be able to take things by faith, even if I don't understand it all until later.
Please take away anything the Enemy would try to use to rob me of receiving Your counsel & correction, such as hurt feelings, making excuses, blaming others, resentment, the "poor me's", dumps, stubbornness, rebelliousness, bitterness, or anything else. Lord, help me to see that it is YOU Who is correcting me through others, & that it's not just people picking on me. Jesus, help me to be open & honest with (whoever is correcting) so I can stay on the right track. Help me to TAKE this correction & to even really WANT & DESIRE it & to see how good it is for me, as it is helping me to learn & grow closer to You. Please help me to say, "Yes, Sir" cheerfully, truly meaning it in my heart.
Help me to gain victories, Lord, & to learn from experience & do better & not yield to the same weaknesses. Thank You for those who take the time to warn, correct & even chasten me in love, so that I can grow straight & tall, & not crooked & bent & useless. Lord, YOU have to change me, as I can't do it by just trying hard to be good. Thank You Jesus that You care enough for me not to let me get away with things that could hurt me or others, & that You & my Shepherds, parents & teachers still love me in spite of my faults. Help me to see this correction as instruction from You so that I can be more of a blessing & help to others. I claim the verse, "Happy is the man whom the Lord correcteth."
Help me, Jesus, to have a metanoia (complete change of direction; revolution) in my life & to be a new creature, happy, obedient & fulfilled in Thy service. In Jesus name, amen.

While we sleep tonight & lie in Your arms, Jesus, please bless & keep our Home & property. Thank You for Your Guardian Angels that watch over us night & day. (Psa.34:7) Please strengthen them as they stand guard.
Please bless & keep all our precious Family & loved ones around the World.—And bless & keep dear Grandpa & Maria & their household, & give them continued inspiration & safety.
I know I made some mistakes today, Jesus, but You promise that if I confess my sins to You, that You will always forgive me & cleanse me from all unrighteousness. (1Jn.1:9) So Lord, please forgive me for (confess shortcomings & wrongdoings). And if I have hurt or offended others today, please help me to make it right with them. It feels so good to tell You these things, Jesus, to share my heart with You, & give my worries & cares to You & to trust You with my life. (1Pet.5:7) Thank You for listening, Jesus. I know You are, & I know You understand me because You were once my age & growing up like I am. I'm so thankful for You, & it feels so good to know that You'll be watching & protecting me all night long. (Psa.121:4)
As I sleep, Jesus, please prepare my heart & mind for whatever You have in store for me tomorrow. Help me to wake up happy, healthy & inspired, eager to spend another day with You.
Good night, Jesus! I love You!
