         1. A Presbyterian minister of the early days settled near the headwaters of the Susquehanna. A good man, he was, but full of humor & ready with his repartee on all occasions. Jack Rickitt, a quasi-parishioner, but who was more punctual at the river than at church, presented the minister one Monday morning with a fine string of pickerel. The minister thanked him gravely for the gift. "But parson," suggested Jack, still retaining the fish, "those fish were caught yesterday. Perhaps yer conscience won't let you eat'm."
         "Jack" replied the minister, stretching out his hands toward the string, "there's one thing I know--the pickerel were not to blame!"

         2. God will give you anything as long as you love Him & worship Him above all! As long as you put Him & His Work first & seek Him with your whole heart, He'll give you the desires of your heart! If you seek Him first, all these other things shall be added unto you! (Psa.37:4; Matt.6:33)

         3. We're still living by faith on the contributions of others! Every man of God who serves the Lord full-time can be branded as a beggar! So what? What's wrong with being a beggar?

         4. If ever you are tempted to say, "I wish someone were to die & leave me something in his will," allow me to tell you, "Someone has!" There's a huge inheritance to be claimed by repenting sinners.

         5. The promises of God are certain, but they don't all mature in ninety days.

         6. Depend upon it--God's work done in God's way will never lack supplies.

         7. God's crumbs are better than the World's loaves.

         8. He who feeds His birds will not starve His babes.
