PRO ONE MATHEMATICS CDs
This company produces inexpensive CDs on math that can be purchased as a set of five "mathematics" CDs. The name and address of the company is: PRO ONE, P.O. Box 16317, Las Cruces, NM 88004, USA. If you think of these as collections of multiple choice questions (500 or more questions on each CD) covering the main high school math subjects, then you will have the idea of what this series offers. When students pick a correct answer a voice or piece of music encourages them; incorrect answers cause sounds like breaking glass or "uh-oh" comments. Examples or explanations are available for each question by clicking a menu button. Each CD is basically a math workbook on computer. It sells as a "multimedia" package because it contains a few brief video clip sections of a math teacher talking to the student. If you have Windows 95 installed and have a CD-ROM drive, these programs pretty much install themselves when you put the disk in the machine.
