"And Moses cried unto the Lord, saying, Heal her now, O God, I beseech thee" (Numbers 12:13).

Please use this list along with PL 57, the latest long-term list. Thank you!

For 14 years and up. Can be read with JETTs, but they shouldn't read it on their own.
Selected prayer requests, answers to prayer and testimonies of answered prayer may be read to younger age groups as well, at parents' and teachers' discretion.

ANSWERED PRAYERS

Asia

Melissa (YA) (PL 51:18): Melissa had an ongoing battle with eye infections in one of her eyes for several years. The doctors always treated it as an allergy. Recently the Lord led us to a very precious and concerned young doctor who, after a number of tests, discovered that it was not an allergy at all but a less complicated condition. We know it is an answer to everyone's prayers.

Please pray for her healing, for the Lord's will, and for His perfect peace in her heart.

NOTICES AND TESTIMONIES OF ANSWERED PRAYER

Through the Storm
From Michael and Michelle, Asia:
(See PL 53:36). This spring we decided to take Melissa (who has been diagnosed with aplastic anemia) off of her medication in order to observe what healing had taken place. Contrary to the doctor's expectations, after being off medication, Melissa was completely healed. We knew that the greatest Doctor of the universe had fulfilled His promise and we were able to testify of answered prayer to the doctors and the hospital staff. Melissa looks radiant and is very healthy, and the doctors said there was no reason why she couldn't go to India--and now here we are! Thank you for all your prayers and encouraging prophecies--they were a present help in trouble, and now we have inherited the promise of her healing.

'Thank you' Note
From Melissa (9, of Michael and Michelle), Asia:
Thank you, all my sweet Family, for praying for me in my hour of need.
I am now completely healed from aplastic anemia and am happy in sunny, warm India. During my sickness the Lord gave me many poems, and here is one I'd like to share with you:

Through the Storm

         I sorrowfully walked the road
Of sickness and pain He had given me.
I tried to bear it patiently,
To learn to be what He wanted me to be.
         The road was sometimes rough,
The battle was hard to bear,
But He was always with me,
         Giving me peace, not fear.
He told me it was worth it,
That it was not in vain.--
         He would carry me through,
         And carry half the pain.
And when the race was finished,
         The hard test done,
         I looked up to see,
It was Him and I who had won.
         True, it was worth it--
         All the hardships through.
         I had done my part,
         Done what I could do.
As I rested in His arms,
I thought, "How could I ever doubt?"
         I was satisfied,
         I had climbed the mount.
The Lord had been so true,
         For when I was forlorn,
He had helped me to make it,
He had carried me through the storm.

From Juan, SACRO:
Words will fail me to express how thankful I am to the Lord for the gift of healing. Since the Summit, every day my body seems to have gained strength, to the point that now I feel that my health has been totally restored. Actually, I've been feeling so good that sometimes I forget I'm still recovering. I've been able to eat almost everything that has been set before me without it affecting me or causing some of the pain and discomfort that I would often get in the past. Even the swelling in the lower side of my stomach is hardly there. So I can't help but praise His Holy name and give testimony of His healing power and the power of prayer.

Like an Angel
From Hope, Asia:
April (5, of Abe and Libby) was admitted to hospital for a double hernia operation. The pediatric surgeon was like an angel sent from Heaven. He was so sweet and showed a lot of concern for April. He also helped us by provisioning the anesthetist and getting us a discount on the operation. God bless him! Thank the Lord! The operation went very well and April was able to come home the same day!
