ANSWERED PRAYERS

Asia:

1. Marie (of Michael) (PL 51:4): "[Thanks] for sending prophecies and praying for me. I am feeling better. I'm on my second round of chemotherapy, and by God's grace will have few side effects. Jesus has done lots of miracles! My mysectomy went well, and I'm recuperating well. Everyone is saying how well I look. TYJ!"

North America:

2. Praise (of David) (PL 51:10): (From David:) "GBY! We'd like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for your prayers for Praise, who was diagnosed with cervical cancer. Her last test showed that there are no more traces of cancer in her cervix, and that she will no longer need a hysterectomy! TTL! This is a great big load off our minds and hearts. We'd like to personally thank Mama for the timely publishing of 'The How-to's of Healing' (GN 759), which gave us the faith to trust the Lord for this situation! A heartfelt thank-you to our precious loved ones who have sent us prophecies with encouraging words of comfort and love, and the Lord's promises to heal Praise. What a beautiful Family! We love you so much!"

Thank you, all of you out there in 'Prayer-land'! It's beautiful to have brothers and sisters such as you! I know you all will continue to support me via the prayer hotline until everything with the children is settled!"

NOTICES AND TESTIMONIES OF ANSWERED PRAYERS

What a Family, what a Savior!
From Merry, Japan:
Several weeks ago, after having the flu and a cold, the nerves on one side of my face stopped working properly. My left eye stayed open and would hardly blink; my cheek and the left side of my mouth wouldn't move. We prayed and went for a check-up, but there was nothing to do but wait and hope it would go away. We asked for united prayer at a national meeting and on the same day my face began to get better! After three or four more days, I was totally whole. I wanted to thank everyone who prayed for me and phoned me out of concern. What a Family! What a Savior!

What the doctor would have prescribed
From Noe, Joy and Patricia, China:
Baby Ethan was healed from a viral skin infection that he had had on his face for nearly a month. It was very interesting to see how the Lord answered our prayers for his healing. We had taken him with us on a road trip by public transportation. Because we couldn't find suitable food, he mostly nursed and drank a lot of water. It reminded us of the story in the
Good Thots (GT2 "Trials & Triumphs," 373) about the missionary woman who was sick, and had to eat oatmeal and milk for a time because her money didn't come in, and later found out that this was just what the doctor would have prescribed! By the second day of our road trip, Ethan's face was totally clear.

A breath of fresh air
From Maria Swiss, Middle East:
Several years ago, after being on the Prayer List, I was healed from asthma and it never came back until recently. Here's something very interesting the Lord said through prophecy while praying about my affliction:
(Jesus speaking:) I have sent this affliction into your life not to punish you, nor to discomfort you. But I have done it in My love that knows no boundaries, that reaches from the lowest depths right up to the highest mountain. This is not an affliction, it is a gift. You say, 'A gift?' When you cannot sleep at night, you can take that time to commune with Me and thereby find the rest you seek. Just as I have given King Peter a thorn in the flesh, and in so doing have broken his heart for others, so have I restrained your breathing so that you too may have feelings for those who long for a breath of fresh air--the fresh air of My Words of life that will invigorate them with My hope! I give you these analogies in the flesh to manifest the need for those not yet in My fold to come into My all-encompassing arms. Pray for My sheep that are gasping for a breath of fresh air. (End of message from Jesus.)
