GBY! Thank you for your wonderful, inspiring responses to the Prayer Lists (PLs), & thanks most of all for your prayers, which have resulted in some marvellous answers to prayer! PTL!
The weary ones had rest,
The sad had joy
That day & wondered "how?"
A mother, singing at her work, had prayed
"Lord, help them now!"
Away in needy lands, they wondered "how"
Their simple word had power.
At home, the vigil teams had met
To pray for them an hour.
Yes, we sometimes wonder "how?"

The following Prayer List is a compilation of all four past PLs, eliminating all the requests which have been answered & condensing those which remain into short, one or two-line requests. We pray this will make your times of vigil or united prayer simpler, & we look forward to hearing the answers to these requests as well. You will find these summaries of past requests, entitled "Summary of Continued Prayer Requests from Past PLs," in each section following the new requests. In cases where these prayer requests have been partially answered, you will also see the words, "See Answered Prayer # such-&-such," at the beginning of this list. These are situations where your continued prayers are needed. Thanks so much! WLY!
P.S. Since the Prayer Lists are often rather lengthy, if you always start praying at the beginning, you may never reach the prayer requests at the middle & end during your times of vigil & prayer because you run out of time. So perhaps you could vary your starting point occasionally, sometimes starting at the beginning, & other times at the middle or end--or vary the areas you pray for! God bless you with good, inspiring, fruitful prayer time!

All the people listed below wish to thank you, dear Family, for your prayers for them. We know that it was your prayers that helped to turn the tide & bring about the healings or spiritual victories, deliverance from persecution, etc.!
1. Dad & Mama are wonderfully healed by faith! They both send their heartfelt thanks to all of you who sacrificially fasted & earnestly prayed & fought in the Spirit for their healing! During the Fast, a number of prophecies were received & sent in by different Units & Offices. The following excerpts show what the Lord said regarding Mama's healing:
(Fam:) "Rejoice & be exceeding glad, for the day of deliverance has come! Rejoice, lift up your hands in praise & thanksgiving, for this day will I pour out My healing upon thy Queen. I am well pleased with thy obedience & with thy yieldedness & thy willingness to lay down thy lives in prayer & supplication, & I will answer & I will heal her, & it will be a token of My Love."
(Fam:) "For in this day thine eyes have seen & thine ears have heard the fulfilment of the wonderful things that I have promised unto My children. For am I not the God of all flesh, have I not said that I would heal her?"
Regarding Dad's healing the Lord said:
(Fam:) "Behold, even this day as you do set your hearts to obey Me, I will perform that which I have promised & heal My Servant David!"
(Fam:) "My Spirit shall charge against the forces of the Enemy that have afflicted David, & this day shall he be healed! I am the God of all flesh, there is nothing too hard for Me. I have heard thy prayers, I have seen thy tears; behold, I will heal him. Ye must remain obedient, ye must remain yielded, ye must remain desperate--desperate in prayer for thy Father David...For yea, the days are short, the End is nigh. Verily from this day forth I shall heal him!"
(Fam:) "This shall be remembered as a day of rejoicing when I have healed thy David & when I have given great healing & deliverance to the land."
Regarding these & other similar prophecies that were received during the Fast, Mama said, "The Lord said that we should shout for joy & rejoice, for the healing was done. I suppose that other people around the World probably received similar prophecies as well, because in the Lord's mind our healing is done. We just haven't received the manifest evidence of it yet. Of course, that's always the conflict between the natural mind & God's mind. We often think & look at things in a very natural way, whereas God thinks in the supernatural, which to Him is natural, although to us it's supernatural.
"This is why the Lord tells us in His Word, `Cast not away therefore your confidence (faith), which hath great recompense of reward. For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the Will of God, ye might receive the promise.'--Heb. 10:35,36.
"We know that the Lord promised to do it, so I'm sure that in the Lord's mind, we are healed. Apparently all the circumstances are not quite in place for us to `receive the promise,' so it hasn't quite gotten to us yet, but we're expecting it any time. We know that `God's delays are not denials,' & we know that the Lord frequently tries our faith by having us continue to wait patiently for Him.--Look how Daniel's prayers were answered from the first day that he prayed, but it took three weeks before he actually received that answer! (See Dan.10:12-14.)
"We know that in the Lord's mind, He has answered your prayers for both Dad & me, it's been done, & for this we rejoice. We know that `God's on the Throne & prayer changes things,' so we're expecting to fully receive our healing at any time. Like that little poem that Grandmother used to quote,
`The answer's coming, never fear.
The answer's coming, it's almost here!
Just keep on believing, trust & obey,
The answer's coming, it's on its way!'
"So we want to sincerely thank each of you who fought this battle for our healing & poured out your hearts to the Lord in fervent prayer for us! I believe the Lord has definitely heard & answered your prayers & has healed us, & we're just waiting now to receive that healing of my eyes & Dad's throat, esophagus & stomach. The Lord said that He would do it when you, our dear Family, fasted & prayed like you did, so I don't think you have to pray any more for us to be healed of those particular afflictions. (--Just hold on in Faith!)
"While we no longer need to keep asking the Lord for Dad's healing, we should pray that we will all continue to be obedient to get out the Word, so that Dad can continue to be healed. I'd also like to ask you to please pray for me, that the Lord will help me (& our pubs team) to finalise & publish the different talks on healing that He has given me over the past months. The Lord has indicated that our publishing these talks is something that He wants us to do before He is going to give me the manifestation of complete healing.
"So thank You, Jesus, for giving us Thy healing by faith. Even if we haven't received it yet, we know that we're going to in Thy perfect time, PTL! God bless you all, we love you & appreciate each one of you!"

2. Dad's eyes (PL 2) have been very strong & doing very well!
3. Dad's side (PL 2) is completely healed!
4. Dad's classes with the Family (PL 1) have gone very well & been very inspiring--all of which you're already benefitting from with the new GNs!
5. The "Fast Day" mailings made it to each of our Areas & far-flung Homes in time, thank the Lord!
6. The Cash Buffer Program (PL 3:21) has given a dramatic boost to monthly buffers in our Homes around the World! Whereas in November only 65% of our Homes had a full month's buffer, in December 86% of our Homes reported having one month's cash buffer.--A real milestone! PTL!
7. Many new children's songs (PL 2) written for Family Videos.
8. Juan: (PL 2, under "North & South America") "For almost a year I had been having daily asthma attacks & feeling quite run down physically, but now I haven't had a single asthma attack for the past three months. TYJ! And although PL 2 came out approximately 7 months ago, it was not that the Lord had not answered but He was waiting on me, as I also had to learn a lesson along the lines of how His blessings don't precede obedience & how He needed me to `roll away the stone' for my healing & do my part in being faithful to take my daily Get-Out & be more obedient to the `least of His commandments.' Once I asked for forgiveness & His help & was determined to change & be faithful with my Get-Outs, I was immediately & miraculously healed--the same day that I made a commitment to obey & put feet to my prayers! TYL! And I want to express my special thanks to you too, dear Family, for upholding me in your prayers, for I know your prayers are continuing to fight against any recurrences of these asthma attacks, as well as to help me keep fighting the battles against the weights & sins that so easily beset me, & are helping me to run the race that has been set before me! TYJ! GBAKY!"
9. Teen Becky & Little Josh: (PL 3:10) The Lord is continuing to do mighty miracles for Becky. After only 7 months since her serious brain hemorrhage which left her having to relearn how to walk, talk, read, control her bladder etc., she is now able to perform all normal activities as well as Get-Outs & is beginning to go out witnessing. Another mighty miracle is that after taking a System achievement test, she scored on a 10th grade level with reading comprehension, a very high score, which was one of the areas supposedly most affected from the brain hemorrhage! She attends the Word classes with the other Teens & is growing spiritually & gaining lasting victories. GBH! Her speech has also miraculously come back, & she was dancing away happily at our last dance night.--"She went walking & leaping & praising God!"
Her formerly backslidden father, Little Josh, is now off his babes' status & has shown lasting progress in his walk with the Lord.
10. Heidi Phoenix (EA) of James & Ahlai: (PL 3:27) Her heart has improved & her heartbeat is almost normal, while her hearing improved 90%. Heidi wanted to especially thank Mama for her sweet personal encouragement!
11. Ricky (newborn of Renata): (PL 4:32) The hole in his heart has gotten a lot smaller, & according to doctors is progressively improving! Pray that the hole closes completely.
12. Robby (3) of Michael & Rebecca (PL 4:73), completely healed of strep throat & fever, as well as all the other children in his Home. Instead of scarlet fever, Robby broke out with another side effect from the strep throat, & his legs & feet were all covered with red & purple splotches diagnosed as "purpura" due to the strep getting into his blood stream & causing internal bleeding. The doctors were demanding he be hospitalised immediately; however, his parents took a stand of faith & the Lord took away all symptoms within three days! On returning to the doctor for a checkup, he was amazed at Robby's speedy recovery! Also, the lingering symptoms, which can hang on for a month, have already gone! His mother shared how the Lord used this to give her spiritual victories that she had needed for some time, for which she is very thankful.
13. Josh (13) of Servant & Rose, healed of diabetes after the Fast! Since he was 2 years of age Josh has had problems with diabetes, which caused him to always have to have special diets & be somewhat weak physically. His parents took a stand of faith against any type of medicine & adhered to natural treatments such as special diets. During the Fast, Josh on his own decided to ask for prayer for the Lord's complete healing. Two days after the Fast his mother took him to the doctor to get an examination & analysis, & there was no trace of excess sugar in his blood & he has now been totally healed from diabetes!
14. Andr (7) of John & Marie (PL 2, under "North & South America"), is a lot more energetic & only needs to go for chemotherapy monthly now, instead of weekly. The treatment may be dropped completely if his bones keep growing without medicine! Please keep praying for this.
15. Katherine (former mate of Ricky) (PL 3:40) has made a decision to change & has been actively & militantly fighting against her problems, & has had some major victories, GBH!
16. Seek (PL 3:39) has taken a real stand to stick it out in a DO Home, while her mate Servant has chosen to become a TSer. He left in good spirits, as well as wanting his children to remain in fulltime service with Seek, most of whom are going forward as 100% disciples, except for the two most adversely affected by him, who decided to go with him.
17. David (13) of James & Paloma (PL 4:30) had a large swollen area under his left arm. His parents were told that he might have a number of very serious illnesses, including cancer. However, after prayer & anointing with oil, they found out that it was just pus in his lymph nodes due to an infection (a boil) that he had on his arm weeks earlier. After it drained, he had a very quick recovery.
18. Tiaguinho (PL 4:7 & 27) (3, of Davi & Rosa), who the Lord has miraculously raised up from death! Hallelujah! After an operation for a tumour & a bout with pneumonia, Tiaguinho was in a very weakened state, & his parents asked us to pray for his Homegoing so he wouldn't have to suffer any more. He had become more seriously ill to the point that his heart stopped beating for 5 minutes, yet the Lord raised him to life again! TTL for His faithfulness to punch through, as one night in prayer we received a strong check from the Lord that we were praying in the wrong direction, & that the Lord indeed wanted to heal him! As we called desperately on the Lord to guide us, He confirmed His Will with many encouraging verses from His Word, & sure enough, when we did what we could do--prayed desperately for his healing--the Lord did what we couldn't! The next news we heard was that he was healed of his pneumonia. Though the doctors had gone ahead with the operation, Tiaguinho was doing much better & the doctors now are running tests to see if he really has cancer after all! He's now back at home, able to eat & is recovering well & excitedly told of his trip to Heaven when his heart stopped & he was gone for 5 minutes! Please do keep this little miracle boy's full healing in your prayers, specifically for his eyes that are now crossed.
19. Sharon (PL 2), a wonderful healing victory from cervicitis (inflamed cervix)!
20. One of our kings in Brazil. (PL 3:32) He's now more strengthened in the Word & faith & doing more witnessing. He testified that he arrived at his office one morning & looked at the pile of papers on his desk, & seeing all that there was to do, thought, "I just can't face this, I need to take some time in the Word first." His assistant (a sweet man who loves the Posters & KVs) was there with him & he said, "Sit down, we're going to read the Bible before we start!" They started to read Psalm 10. Another man came in & looked at them like, "What is going on here?" And our king told him, "Sit down & listen, we're reading the Bible." So he sat down & started listening. Then another man came into the office, a state congressman, who is saved. He sat down & started listening too & then gave his testimony to the first man of how he'd met the Lord & gotten saved. They all had a real inspiring time together & our king said his day went much better!
His friends have told him, "We see that you really have changed, you're really different than you used to be. You look so happy & peaceful. We don't understand." And he replies, "It's because I have Jesus & I read His Word & pray & He gives me peace & I hardly worry about anything!" We'd like to continue to pray for him to grow in the Lord & the Word & witnessing His Love to others.--And that his work lets up to allow time for him to continue to be fed & strengthened, & for his health, protection & continued giving to the Work.
21. Lynn (PL 4:29) hasn't had any more problems with pains in her heart, & is very thankful for the whole Family's prayers for her. Please pray for continued improvement in her health.
22. For influential friends in Latin America & to set up DF Homes. (PL 1) The Lord has continued to lead us to many influential friends & contacts throughout South America & helped us to set up several DF Homes.
23. Against brewing persecution. (PL 1) Although we were told that more persecution was brewing, the Lord has continued to hold back the forces of our enemies in South America & He has made it possible for us to go on to reach these precious Latins with His message of Love. We are very thankful for this, especially now with the new vision to really get out there & reach them like never before!
24. Joshua, 3, who suffered brain damage from meningitis (PL 2) is now being gradually taken off of his strong anti-convulsion medicine & has had no convulsions for the last two weeks (previously they were a daily occurrence), in spite of the fact that the doctors said he would have more. He is walking better, his muscle tone is improving & he is more bright-eyed & alert.
25. Santiago (2) (PL 2) of Lucas & Ana has improved in his eye condition, but he continues to need the Family's prayers as his problem does continue, even though to a lesser degree than before.
26. In answer to our prayers against our enemies in the South American city where we recently underwent persecution (PL 4:69), a number of people have been struck down by cholera. Although the number of people contracting the sickness is not too high, still they have had the highest death rate of any area in the continent.
From Timothy, Shepherd of the former Home: "The area where the Home was located was a fancy neighbourhood where the big landowners & upper class lived, & they were the ones who took us to court & were behind the persecution there, along with the Catholic church. Now that the export of agricultural products from there has been banned (due to the cholera) this will mean a serious setback in their local economy. That area also relies heavily on tourism, especially during the Summer months (now), & the news of widespread cholera in the area is bound to keep away potential tourists, which will mean another setback to their livelihood!"
27. David (PL 3:37) is getting around much better & able to bend his knee for the first time in 10 years!
28. Gabe (PL 3:38) has been making beautiful progress & is putting his all on the altar. The Lord is giving him victories & teaching him a lot of lessons.
29. Rebeca (PL 4:74) was operated on & she's now home, making progress & recovering. She was released without needing a blood transfusion.
30. Colombian Clara of Peter (PL 4:75) is three months along in her pregnancy & doing great. That she would continue to have a healthy pregnancy & safe delivery of a healthy baby.
31. Baby Florence of John & Maria Fe (PL 4:76) immediately put on more weight than expected the first week & is now developing normally!
32. For about 2 weeks now, Juan Pablo (5 months, of Jonathan & Heidi) (PL 4:79) has been able to eat cereal mixed with milk without producing any kind of allergic reaction on his skin or otherwise. (He used to get red spots all over his body that really itched.) His cough still has not gone away, but we know that as we continue praying & believing, God will answer!
33. From Elias (formerly Luis, PL 4:82): "I am so thankful to the entire worldwide Family for their prayers. Since my deliverance I feel a very distinct & definite change in my life. I feel like it is a new beginning & I have a brand new desire to fight for my total recovery with everything I've got. Before, I felt that I was on a downward spiral where things seemed to get worse every day, but now I know for a fact that I have touched bottom once & for all & I'm on my way up. I'm learning to have a much more believing, positive & thankful attitude, which is helping me a lot to hold on tight & not let go of the mighty victory the Lord has given me regardless of battles & feelings. Having the blessing of all this prayer power in my life has given me more faith & is encouraging me to pray more for others, because I know that what the Lord is doing for me, He can certainly do for others. PTL!"
34. Housing throughout South America! (PL 4:83) The Lord has been supplying wonderful housing in many different countries, & also the contracts that needed to be renewed have all come through. PTL!
35. Baby Maria Clara (PL 4:81) has gone through a serious operation & has improved miraculously. She's strong &, although born underweight, she is now even chubbier than most babies her age, TYJ! Please pray that her body can keep functioning properly, & also for her legs, which are a little deformed. We are so thankful for how the Lord has been answering the Family's prayers for her, & all the lessons the Home has been learning on united desperate prayer through all this!
36. Carmen (7, of Franz & Ramona, PL 4:41) was totally healed of an eye infection!
37. Serena (formerly Ellie of Abner, PL 4:40) Pain is almost gone & kidney stones broken up & dissolving! Would appreciate continued prayers.
38. Marie Joy (4 months, of Bruni, PL 4:37) Fully recovered! Weight is now above average, & she's happy & healthy.
39. Miracle (1 year, of Polish Jan & Eve, PL 4:37a) has made much progress & is now stronger & much healthier & has gained quite a bit of weight. However, she continues to show little sign of growth for a baby her age & has been diagnosed as having a problem with her pituitary gland. For the complete healing of her pituitary gland & for normal growth & weight gain.
40. Spanish Victoria (PL 2) had a baby girl after only a few hours of labour! A real miracle, as the labour was short & easy.
41. German Micah (PL 2) has had a very good recovery to full health, with only occasional headaches. He has also gained major victories over his bitternesses. His Shepherds write, "We see a new man who is really growing!"
42. Donny (PL 4:45) Miraculous improvement with his back & leg, although he still has difficulty walking late in the day.
43. Spring (formerly Nekoda Black) (PL 4:44) has not been experiencing anywhere near the same amount of pain & stiffness as before, & she has been able to take good Get-Out (even running for the first time in two years, & dancing!) without suffering with painful feet & joints for days afterward. That the Lord completely & miraculously restores her to full health, & continues to teach her any lessons He may have for her.
44. EA Paloma, age 18 (PL 4:50) is completely healed from rheumatic fever! She has also won victories spiritually through this, & has learned to become much more positive & cheerful, PTL! That she can regain her full strength, & against any side effects from having had rheumatic fever--especially on her heart.
45. Micah (Gibeah) (PL 4:51) is feeling much stronger, has regained his appetite, & rarely has any dizziness any more. Although he still has occasional headaches, they are not as intense or nearly as frequent as before. He is still bothered with pain in his neck, chest & back & has ringing in his ears off & on which he'd like to ask continued prayer for.
46. Steven, Indian National (PL 2, under "East"), testifying of his healing from epilepsy, shared, "It's been such a blessing to be on the Prayer List & to know someone is praying for me, especially at night when I get hit with negative thoughts of how I could have an attack. Just the thought that someone is praying for me helps to chase the Enemy away & the thoughts & fears disappear just like that!" The Lord has helped Steven learn precious lessons through this affliction, gaining victories of humility, over sensitivity & self-righteousness, & he has learned to have greater love & compassion for others. He still faints once in a while for a couple of seconds & has occasional headaches, but he feels these are the Lord's safeguards to remind him of his victories & lessons.
47. Baby Gabriel (PL 2, under "East"), though continuing to have slight fevers in the evening, is now growing & developing normally, eats well & seems to be happier, stronger & less run down than before. His mother recently chose to become a TRF Supporter, while Gabriel remains with his daddy in fulltime DO service!
48. Peace (Jael) (PL 3:51) has gained many victories, made a lot of progress spiritually, & is being a real blessing to the Lord & the Family in her present place of service.
49. Filipino Peter (PL 4:54) has been making solid progress in many areas of his life, & the Lord is making him a new man as he learns to "walk in newness of life."
50. Pending Persecution in Thailand (PL 2, under "East"): The persecution of the Moonies in Thailand did not cause any problems for the Family in that country, TTL!
51. Disgruntled TRF Supporters (PL 2, under "East"): The Lord has certainly helped smooth out the situation with this small group of TRF Supporters & they are settling into their role without any problems, & without becoming enemies or hurting the work in any way.
52. Tony & Claire & their son (PL 2) have been making steady progress! They are in different Homes getting rewired with lots of Word, & are showing signs of sincere repentance. Tony has been a big blessing & is showing a totally different attitude in his relationship with the Lord & others. Their little boy was miraculously healed after he had to undergo an operation for a ruptured appendix.
53. Johane (PL 4:62). His lungs had been hurting him for a year & he was coughing up blood. Now he's totally healed with no further tuberculosis symptoms.
54. Lydia (PL 4:62) has suffered heart trouble every Winter for many years, but since the Family has been praying for her, she's been feeling exceptionally healthy & strong. Her heart has hardly been bothering her at all this year!
55. Precious, new baby of Chris (Zatthu) & Lena (PL 2). The Lord's answer to united Family prayer for baby Precious has been nothing short of phenomenal. In the first week of her life she was virtually at "death's doorstep" as her breathing capacity collapsed & she was on a number of life support systems. On top of this, she began having convulsions, which the physicians were quite sure were early signs of cerebral palsy. The Lord has answered the Family's united prayers in a step-by-step way & she gradually improved to the point that at six months, she is a plump & healthy sweet girl & there has been no further evidence of convulsions for over 5 months. When her mommy took her in for a recent check-up, the doctors indicated that there did not seem to be any continuing evidence of cerebral palsy or brain damage as they'd first feared. Hallelujah!
Another definite manifestation of the Lord's answer to prayer is that both Chris & Lena have accepted the challenge for retraining & have made a declaration of commitment against longstanding NWOs of self-righteousness, independence, criticism & desire for leadership.
56. Teen Joan (PL 2). Phenomenal breakthrough. Now happy & growing.
57. Snowy (PL 3:48) really is a changed man--much more of a soldier & much less of the "sensitive artist type" & "special case" that he was before. He seems to be a lot more solidly connected to the Lord & the Word, & it shows in his obedience & openness & honesty in regards to receiving correction.
58. Australian Becky (PL 3:53) has made good progress & gained lots of victories.
59. Promise (of Tommy) (PL 4:60) Her back has greatly improved, to where she can now walk upright.
60. Byron (PL 4:56) Since gaining some recent spiritual victories, his tumour has gotten smaller. For continued prayer for total healing.
61. Happy (PL 2) is a lot more inspired & at peace, even in the midst of many changes in his personal life & work. He's been very positive & seems to be quite happy in the Lord & flowing with all that the Lord has for him.
62. JETT David of Japanese Emmanuel & Olivia (PL 2) has been severely asthmatic virtually since birth & extremely bound by fear & pride for many years. Dan, the Home's CC Overseer writes, "After being somewhat accustomed to praying for David & then seeing very slow or barely noticeable progress, it is very encouraging to actually see noticeable change recently in a couple of his previous & more persistent NWOs. It's been quite miraculous that David's asthma condition has also improved markedly & he's not had any attack for over 2 months!"
63. Jenny & Becky in China (PL 4:61). The Family has been able to get in touch with Jenny for the first time in about a year & is now working on paperwork that would enable her to visit the Family in another country, PTL! Becky has been able to finally submit her papers for a visa to leave the country, after a prolonged battle with red tape. That the Lord will see to the end the good work He has begun.
64. Solomon Touchstone (PL 3:46) (now Francis Newheart) has recently gained some real beautiful victories in his life after the Lord spoke clearly about some of his long-standing problems & spirits that were hindering him. He was able to have a real good prayer of deliverance, & ever since the Lord has spoken to him very clearly through the Word & situations he's been in. The Lord is turning him into a new man, thanks to your prayers!
65. Pepe (See PL 3:34) Since the Lord spoke to us in prophecy that we need to use this opportunity of Pepe being in an institution as a witness & to minister the Word to him & those there, we have donated to the institution a full set of children's tapes, for which they were extremely thankful & will be playing them to the children during certain times of the day. We've also given them a large mounted poster of Jesus which they, after much thought, hung in their dining room since that was the place that all the children would see it the most & benefit from it. Several people at the institution have been saved, so we thank the Lord for this important lesson to be more faithful witnesses & to care for each child in the Family as our own regardless of the situation. Please do continue to pray for us to do our part in ministering to Pepe & those at the institution, so the Lord can fulfill His promise to deliver Pepe from his earthly body which holds him down.
66. As you know, Watchman (PL 4:84) has been having very serious problems for a long time. He has been given every opportunity to gain victories, including special times of retraining, hours of help & counsel from top leaders, lots of correction & guidance etc., but he felt he could not make the sacrifice required to overcome his serious long-standing spiritual problems, & make the necessary changes in his life. He himself confessed that for years now he has not been living the revolutionary standard, saying, "I haven't been a real disciple for a long, long time--in fact, not since the Mexican TTC in 1986. It's amazing how the Lord has kept me & used me in spite of the mess I've been."
Recently Watchman was given a last-ditch chance to repent & have a major revolution in his life when he was given an opportunity to do what he has been good at in the past--pioneering. He was offered a chance to go to Russia as part of the first pioneer team from the Pacific area, but this offer turned out to be the catalyst that caused him to really count the cost & he wasn't willing to pay the price. He commented, "I just can't fit into the mold of `just' being a humble little litnesser, a little person, just a regular, normal, faithful disciple." It was shortly after this offer that he decided that he just didn't have what it took to be a 100%, fulltime, DO disciple, & he chose to return to the States as a TRF Supporter.
67. The departure of Watchman is sad, of course, but actually an answer to prayer in that the Lord is purging our ranks by moving out those who are not here with their whole heart, who have doubts, or have been dragging their feet for some time--making of us a stronger, more single-minded & dedicated Gideon's Band, better able to face the challenges ahead & win greater victories.

EUROPE: (14 years & over.)
87. Against a major attack of our enemies against us. The mother (Mrs. Gillian May Turle) of a British sister, age 24, is behind a major legal drive to get her & her newborn into her custody, as well as using this as a full frontal attack against the Family, aided & abetted by Ian Haworth of Cult Information Centre, with whom Valerie is fully cooperating! (The mother is also trying to locate, kidnap & deprogram her son in the Family, age 22, & has spent a great deal of time & money on both plans.) The case is more than just simply a civil matter between this sister & her mother, as it involves the Family as a whole, with their intention being to bring the Family to court, trying to prove that we as an organisation are unfit to bring up our children. Please pray desperately for the Lord to work on the Family's behalf & raise up a standard against their vicious lies! Pray specifically against the above-mentioned enemies, & specifically for our sister & brother who are under attack, as well as the Family there who are going to have to fight with them in this battle. Also that the Lord will raise up strong, dedicated lawyers on our behalf & give those involved great wisdom in their decision-making & answers! The first hearing is tentatively set for late March. This could be a long, drawn-out case, so please continue constant in prayer. Pray for the judge, that the Lord will turn his heart to our favour. (Pro. 21:1)
88. Colin, a king who loves the Family & the Word & has been a tremendous help & support. The Enemy is really attacking his business transactions with a lot of problems & setbacks which are causing him anxiety & difficulties. That the Lord will help him to be full of faith, & to fight through this difficult period. That the Lord confounds his scheming business associates, & works out the different situations to his advantage. Also that he will seek our counsel/advice & prayers more & have more of a desire to stay in regular touch with the Family.
89. Spanish Samuel (of Maria) a faithful brother who recently suffered a heart attack, his third attack of this nature over the last year. That the Lord will completely heal & strengthen him, & that he doesn't have any further attacks.
90. Drop of the Dollar in Russia: The value of the Dollar against the ruble is dropping like a rock, going down about 5 rubles a day! That the Lord does a miracle & helps the Dollar to go back up, as it's taking quite a toll on the Family's finances there, especially their printing fund. Or that He opens contacts who will continue to print for them at reduced prices because of their love for the Lord & the Word!
91. Printing in Russia: Our main DF printer, a very sweet & helpful man, is having problems with his stapling machine, therefore he's unable to staple the 150,000 DFs & other booklets that he's printing. That his stapler can be repaired & for the protection of all the equipment our different printers are working with, that nothing will break down or delay these printing projects.
92. Our witness to get out in newspapers in Russia.
93. The Lord's guidance in planning & directing the rapidly-expanding EE work, as well as the integration of new personnel into Russia & the EE.
94. Gallina, one of our most faithful Russian Outside Witnessers. She's a former school teacher in her late 50s who has been having problems with her heart. That the Lord continues to keep her healthy & heals any heart problems so that it doesn't affect her ability to witness.
95. Translation & printing of "meaty" pubs in the seven languages in the Southern EE Area.

109. Cynthia, a helper in one of our Offices who frequently has very severe migraine headaches lasting for several days. She also suffers from frequent "hot flashes" which cause discomfort, loss of sleep & sap her physical strength.

She came through miraculously, her speedy recovery without an operation a wonderful testimony to the Buddhist doctors & nurses, a number of whom received Jesus! Upon her return from the hospital, she suffered a serious relapse, but has pulled out of it. Although Liz is still battling problems with controlling her bladder, confusion & loss of memory, she has continued her stand of faith, saying she would rather die in the Family trusting the Lord than go back to the hospital for an operation.
112. Housing for Homes in the ASCRO Area, especially the Thai Service Center. Also a new suitable & affordable Home in Bombay. Bombay real estate is some of the highest in the World & the rental prices are astronomical. Housing in Bangalore.
113. Against Indian national backslider, Micah, who is actively searching for his former mate & child, & has threatened legal action against his former mate, as well as Roman intervention against the Homes & leadership in India.
114. Teen Zion (17), of Gideon (Uriah Shondo) & Heidi. Zion, who is deaf, has been suffering epilepsy for the past 5 years. He would like to ask for the Lord to totally deliver him & heal him from these recurring attacks. Also to be more submitted & yielded to the Lord & his Shepherds, & to really grow in his English language & communication skills--both written & oral--so he's not solely dependent on sign language to communicate with others. Also for his 2-year-old younger brother who has recently begun having light epileptic seizures. For his total healing & deliverance from these.
115. Olivia (5), of David Komic & Thai Victory: Lack of a sufficient amount of growth hormone produced by the thyroid gland.
116. Thai James, adult disciple born with a rare heart condition, whereby the heart valve separating contaminated blood from clean blood does not close. So contaminated blood is continually circulated throughout his body, making him generally weak. Also high blood pressure which causes small blood vessels to rupture in his lungs, which can be quite serious & painful at times. Doctors say it is a miracle that he is alive at all. For his complete healing!

b) For the visa situation in India to open up further, so the brethren who are needed & vital to the work can extend their visas, as well as an opening for new long-term visas for more brethren to enter the fruitful field of India.
119. Passport for 2-year-old Jasmine of Indian Andrew & American Ruth: Due to legal technicalities, the processing of her passport has been delayed for almost 2 years.
120. John (Abel Seaman), of Rose Mideast: Against long-standing serious problems that could take him out of the Family.
121. Paul Martin (19 months old), of David & Crystal: Paul's testicles have not dropped since birth, & the doctors are recommending an operation. That his testicles will drop naturally.
122. Satareh, 2 months, of John & Jacinta Iranian, who developed a hernia in her lower abdomen after she was born, which the doctors recommended surgery for, saying it could develop into something more serious in the future. For her total healing.
123. John Paul (3), of Elkana & Indian Faith, who was born with a muscular condition, & is also double-jointed. His muscles are not very strong & this results in him falling very often. For his strength & muscle development.

125. Lamb & the Home Schooling situation in Australia. The local government in Lamb's state is now trying to pass a new law banning Home Schooling for more than four children, a law aimed specifically at us! Lamb's case & this Home Schooling controversy has made this a far-reaching witness, & most of the Home Schooling publications in the country are carrying the story in detail. It has become quite an issue along the lines of basic human rights, & the proposed law seems to have unleashed a backlash of opposition from Home School groups, Religious Liberties groups, Human Rights groups etc., as well as the opposition party. That the Lord will preserve our liberty to school our children at home, & give the Family wisdom in how to get out the witness & follow up on those they come in contact with through this controversy. For the strength & encouragement of Lamb & her children, & their victory in the upcoming court case. That the Lord will discredit the lies of backsliders testifying against Lamb & the Family as a whole. (See PL 3:55.)

She has been wonderfully & completely healed of epilepsy & learned to walk & do most things by herself, which the doctors never expected! However, she still has most symptoms of "autism," & can only say very few words & has not learned to be completely potty trained. She has a very strong will & can get rebellious on top of being hyperactive, making it difficult to care for her. For her parents & Shepherds to find the Lord's Will for her life. That He either heals her completely within a very short time, so that she can remain in the DO Family if He so wills, or else opens another door & ministry elsewhere for her with those who are better equipped to handle such handicaps.
133. Malachi Teacher writes, "I have had a long-standing problem with spiritual pride & self-righteousness causing me to offend others, hinder & hurt the Lord & His Work. I would like to ask for forgiveness & apologise to anyone I have offended, treated harshly or unlovingly, & for your prayers to have a complete deliverance & that these spirits will no longer have dominion or control over me nor deceive me."

135. Benji (2), of Jordan & Praise (PL 2, under "North & South America") with a severe skin affliction. Improving, but still quite serious. His mother is fighting some serious spiritual problems in her own life. That she will get victories & Benji will recover.
136. The Mexico Training Center: A reporter from a major newspaper recently showed up at the gate, asking snoopy questions & taking photos. This same paper has been running a long series of very pro-Catholic, anti-everything-else articles, & it seems to be possible preparation for a Catholic-inspired witch hunt, as the Catholics & the ACs are working with the Government to pass laws to squeeze out the little groups & cults.
137. Rose (ex-Hepsi). Healing of cysts on her ovaries which have been paining her, for which she is taking a stand of faith.
138. Rebecca Fiel (Brasilian) Healing of her fallopian tubes.

146. Stable political situation in Venezuela, & the Family's survival preparations, in the face of further political unrest.

149. Precious, of Francisco, & her son, Matthew, 6 years old. Both have serious long-term diarrhoea, vomiting & high fevers.

Maria Faith (Miren, 14) of Abel & F who has had cystic fibrosis since birth & suffers from digestive problems that require she eat special foods without oils & takes enzymes to help her digestion. She also requires special physical therapy to break up mucus in her lungs. She took a stand of faith during the Fast Days & received many wonderful prophecies of complete healing. For her faith to stand strong & for her complete healing.
151. Maria (of Aaron), who has very painful varicose veins.
152. Magdalena (PL 4:35) The Lord's concern for her through Dad & Mama came at the right time, as for about the last 6 weeks she has been battling some very serious lung problems, possibly pneumonia, & it has weakened her quite a bit. She is no longer able to sleep at night because of the severe coughing spells that she experiences & her throat is raw from the irritation. She has been in bed for the last few weeks & is unable to function normally. During one of her coughing spells she cried out to the Lord for special help from the Spirit World to give her strength. Soon after, a group of Angels appeared to her with swords in hand & then disappeared as if going off to battle! She is fighting & hanging on, but needs everyone's continued prayers for her complete healing! Below is a reaction to the Family's prayers & the prophecies for her that were published in PL 4.

REACTIONS TO THE WORLDWIDE PRAYER LIST! (May be read to JETTs also.)

It was sobering for me to learn how many dear Family Members are so sick & struggling with diseases. It made me count my blessings of healing, which I've received several times. I was healed of a crippling disease--Multiple Sclerosis--which my older sister died from just last month. It makes me very desperate to pray for these loved ones & their healing, which truly is a wonderful gift from the Lord.

The answered prayer is very inspiring, & it's sobering news about different brethren going through battles! Finding out how Dad & Mama are getting better is very encouraging, & to know the specifics to pray for really helps. Another thing that this list did to me is make me thankful I'm healthy. Plus it gave me the fear of the Lord, so that I'd stay on the right channel & stay close to Him! With the names that I recognised, I was able to visualise them when praying for them. And praying against our enemies helps me to be on guard & aware that they are real & the Devil "walketh about as a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour!"

When we first saw the Prayer List, we thought it would be better to read it with the whole Home to dispel any fear that some might get from hearing of others' serious afflictions. Then we realised that in the same mailing there was a FSM full of healing testimonies, so we presented both together. We saw that we shouldn't identify ourselves & our different little afflictions with some of the ones mentioned in the Prayer List, & thereby exaggerate our different little afflictions. Presenting both together also gave us more faith that the Lord can heal those precious Family Members who are suffering those afflictions.

My trials & afflictions seem so small after reading the Prayer List! Knowing people in a close & personal way who have their request printed has really made me want to pray for them. What a beautiful way to get prayer warriors for those in need, as I'm sure each one of those names have scores of people who know & love them personally & are touched by their requests & are interceding for them with the power of prayer.

I was very glad for this pub, as it really helped me to be more aware of my worldwide Family & the needs of others. Their need for prayer helped me to get out of just worrying about my own needs, or just our Home, & made me want to pray more for others. Also, the answered prayers were very encouraging! TYJ!

It was really touching to see how much the Family is praying for each other, & also really inspiring to see all the prayer requests already answered, TYJ! As our Home is taking half-hour prayer vigil together every morning, having this united time to pray for all the various people & situations worldwide has been a real unifying factor.

The Prayer List was very much of a blessing to receive, as it helps us to stir ourselves up during our prayer vigils & really pray for specific situations & brethren who are in need of healing, or provide spiritual support during this special time in their lives that the Lord is allowing them to go through. We feel these prayer requests that are directed to the whole Family inspire great unity & we feel privileged to be called to pray for these various situations that are listed & fight alongside with those who are in need.

The Prayer List was so heavy. Reading that list of prayers really showed us that our small afflictions & battles are nothing compared to the serious afflictions & battles which our brothers & sisters & children in the Family are suffering! It really gave us a burden to pray for their spiritual & physical healing. It is really inspiring for me to see that all of these brothers & sisters & parents who are seriously afflicted are still serving the Lord. GBT! The lesson that we are learning is that we have to think more about our Family around the World & pray more for them, & not have that selfish attitude to think only about ourselves.

The Prayer List has been a real blessing indeed in our vigils & various prayer times. TYJ! It also opened my eyes to how much more I should be thankful for my lot, as even though I've had major sicknesses, still they are nothing compared to what some of my brothers & sisters around the World are suffering. Sometimes I get so involved with praying for myself & fighting my own NWOs, even praying for my children & the Home, that that almost takes most, if not all of my prayer time, which in a way is not bad, but I now realise how limited my "praying-for-one-another life" is. Now, as much as I can, I take the time to pray for these requests & I even notice that every time I pray, the Lord brings to mind a few of the precious folks listed in here. So I now pray for them even if I don't look at the list. TYJ! This Prayer List has given me a worldwide vision for my Family, not just those who I see or who I know; this certainly made me see & feel the Family more in the spirit, not just in the flesh. TYJ!

At the first reading of this, I was moved to tears to see the faith of the Family, especially of Mama, & of the Lord's Love & the vision of the brethren upholding each other. I find it very unifying to be praying for my brothers & sisters in far-flung fields. Also, seeing the afflictions that others endure, yet knowing that they continue in their service for the Lord, compels me to be more of a fighter & to have more of a thankful heart. I look forward in faith & excitement to the answers of these prayers that the Family is praying together. TTL for this beautiful Family whom we can go to & who will pray for us for every affliction & need, be it spiritual or physical!
