LNF 243: COME, EVERYONE, TO FEAST AT THE LORD'S TABLE!   Maria #318       DFO      1/96
--From Mama to All New Disciples, Returning TSers, Those Who Are on Probationary Status, and Those Who Are Partially Excommunicated
--To be read
before February 15th by all new disciples, returning TSers, those who are on Probationary Status, and those who are partially excommunicated

Dear Ones,
         1. God bless you! I love you so much! The Family Birthday Celebration is approaching and the Lord has prepared a feast for all His children! He's calling each one of you to a banquet of His Word, so you can be filled and satisfied and strengthened! Praise the Lord!
         2. The Family Birthday is a special time of year, and I know you'll all want to be involved and participating as much as possible. For you who are new disciples, this will be your first Family Birthday Celebration. What a momentous occasion!--Celebrating the birth of the Family, Dad's birthday, and your new beginning, your new life for Jesus! It's thrilling!
         3. In prophecy recently, Dad referred to the Family Birthday as "a time of rejoicing, a time of feasting on the Word, a time of unity and prayer." The reading material for this year's Birthday Feast will be several new GNs in a series called "Loving Jesus!" (There are four GNs for adults, YAs and senior teens, and three GNs for junior teens. The junior teen version of this series has been edited to make it more suitable for their age.) Another very important aspect of the Birthday Feast will be the ministry of the JETTs and children as our Family's official Prayer Warriors! With wonderful Word to read, and a long list of prayer requests to come before the Lord about, and a Birthday party on February 18th, this year's Feast promises to be very exciting!
         4. I want to explain what the Lord has for you. Everyone within David's fold needs to hear about the special love the Lord wants to give you, and that He wants to receive from you. I can't think of a more wonderful gift that I could give you on this, our Family Birthday, than this great gift of love, this gift of precious Words from the Lord!
         5. As you know, you who are new disciples and have been living in a Family Home three months or more, and you who have returned to the DO Family from TRF Supporter status and have been living in a DO Home for three months or longer, can, according to the Charter, read DO pubs at your teamwork's discretion. (See the Charter, page 161, point B.) Also, those of you who are on Probationary Status are allowed to read DO lit that your shepherds feel will be beneficial for you. (See the Charter, page 107.)
         6. Under normal circumstances, that is a good arrangement, but I know our Home teamworks will be very busy planning and preparing for the Birthday Celebration, and trying to determine who is eligible to read these new DO pubs would just be one more thing they would need to think about. Therefore, in order to make sure you will be strengthened with the Lord's wonderful Word, my teamworkers and I have made the decision that you should, indeed, read these "Loving Jesus" GNs, and hereby announce this to your Home teamworks. That means that all babes and former TSers who have rejoined the DO Family, and who have lived in a DO Home for three months, and all those who are on Probationary Status, can read the "Loving Jesus" GNs during the Birthday Feast. If you are an adult, YA or senior teen, you will attend those united meetings. If you are a junior teen, you will attend the junior teens' meetings. (You may also read "Loving Jesus" Parts 1 and 2 at your convenience, either before, during or after the Birthday Feast.)
         7. You who are new disciples who have been in the Family less than three months, and you who are on partial excommunication within a DO Home are not allowed to read DO lit, according to the Charter. (See the Charter, page 161, point B; page 110, point 2.) However, my teamwork and I are making an exception to that policy, in order for you to be able to read "Loving Jesus" Parts 1 and 2 during the Birthday Celebration. You returning TSers who have been living in a DO Home for less than three months are also eligible to read "Loving Jesus" Parts 1 and 2.
         8. You might initially be disappointed if you compare negatively what you will read during the Birthday Feast with what others will read, but I want to encourage you that you will be reading basically the same message, except that the others will be reading an amplification and continuation of that message. These two Letters, "Loving Jesus" Parts 1 and 2, are full of the Lord's fresh new golden seeds, and I think you'll be surprised at how feeding and challenging they are! If you drink in this New Wine and apply it with all your heart, you can be just as blessed and just as close to Jesus as everyone else, because it's not necessarily how much you read, but what you do with what you read that counts. And when you have either lived in a DO Home for three months, or you have completed your period of partial excommunication, you will be able to read the other parts of the "Loving Jesus" series that were read during the Birthday Feast. (You would read the version that is applicable to your age.)
         9. I understand that this is a difficult time for you who are on Probationary Status or partially excommunicated. Thank you for humbling yourselves and being willing to take this correction. You may be struggling and feel discouraged with yourself, or the Enemy may try to condemn you, but please know that I love you and I'm praying for you. I want you to make it, I want you to learn your lessons and to be stronger soldiers for Jesus! That's why I'm giving you these Words, which can do just that. They can draw you closer to Jesus and help you to be strengthened in your weak areas, so that you can be better vessels, better tools, better soldiers, all the things that you want to be.
         10. I know this is a difficult time for you, but I want you to sit at the feast with your beloved Family and feast on these Words of Love, and feel the Lord's Love as a warm and healing balm. It will soothe your heartaches, your burdens, your worries, your feelings of inability, your fears about the future, your discouragement about yourselves, your worries about whether you're strong enough to make it. These Words of Love will be all this and more to you, if you'll drink them in by faith.
         11. When Dad spoke recently about the Birthday Feast, he said: "It's a great time of rejoicing! What a celebration, what a victory, what a birthday present, these precious Words from the Lord!" The Lord wants you all to sit at His table and to be filled to overflowing with His Word, so please drink deeply and richly of His bountiful blessings. We are most richly blessed.
         Love,

         Mama
