FJWL_01:296
In My great love and in great mercy I would even gather again to My bosom those who would turn and run away from Me. To those who would seek to run, who try to remove the helmet of My salvation, I give My touches of love. For these are they who by their own choices do choose the gifts of troubles and sorrow. And this I grant, that they may come to know Me in a way they have not known before. For although they choose the hard road, nevertheless I am faithful, and I continue to pour out My gifts so that they will not be lost from My love forever.
Therefore you must not interpret My gifts of love as punishment, for I am plenteous in mercy and ready to forgive. Determine not by what you see and feel initially, in a fleeting moment, but determine by the fruit it brings in your life. If it brings about the good fruits of patience, joy, love, longsuffering, temperance, peace, laughter, meekness, humility, prayerfulness, a closer walk with Me--if it brings these gifts and many more--then know that these are from My hand. These are not punishments, but gifts of My everlasting mercy and love.
It is with great mercy that I gather you to My bosom. I am not a God of punishment but a God of love, a God of mercy. I grant you gifts according to your will, for I am bound by your own free will and choice. I do all things well concerning you, My beloved bride, that I might gather you to My bosom in that great day when you are Home at last, eternally safe in My strong everlasting arms. In that day, mercy and truth will meet together, righteousness and peace will kiss, as we, My beloved, enjoy the pleasures of Paradise forever and ever without end.
